About this lodge
Loon Point is a private resort situated on an 8 acre peninsula. This getaway features 1,700 feet of frontage on Grand Portage Lake. Loon Point is nestled in the heart of the North Woods, yet is conveniently located only 1-1/2 miles from Mercer, WI. It has some of the best fishing in the state on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. In addition to the Lodge, which comfortably houses up to 8 people, the resort also has a separate 2 bedroom guest house which will accommodate an additional 4. The Lodge is situated at tip of the point and has a breathtaking view of water from its huge deck and enclosed porch. You'll find the amenities more than ample... three bedrooms/ two baths and a fabulous stone fireplace. The picturesque guest house is only a stones throw from the water and a large deck. It features two bedrooms, one bath, kitchen with dining area, and knotty pine living room.
The two-stall wet boat house has a game room and screened in porch on the upper level, complete with a Brunswick Tournament pool table.

The property is Beautiful!! Very private and spacious!! Some updates would bring perfection! I was surprised there was no WiFi and did not realize there was no A/C. Yet, would rent it again!

There were 10 of us staying for 4 days and everyone loved the property! We had UTV's and were able to access the trails easily right from the property and it was very close to town. Property was back down a long driveway and made it very private. I'm sure we'll be staying here again next year!!

The location was amazing. The cabin needed some TLC. The oven door was broken, when we arrived the gas grill was filled with charcoal. Some general updates were needed.
