Traditional Waterfront House

Best place ever: the owner, the manager, the location, the rooms..

We only stayed for 2 days and were so sad to leave this magical place! Excellent location, amenities and hospitality. We’re counting the days until we can come back.

Main bedroom is up a ladder or external stair so something to consider if you have mobility issues.

We were a family of 3 (me, husband, 17 year old daughter) traveling to Milos and Greece for the first time. The Traditional Waterfront House was absolutely incredible. Mandrakia is a quaint quiet traditional fishing village and the house is right on the water. Spending breakfast on the front porch looking at the bay was a highlight of our trip. We enjoyed dinner and cards on the rooftop balcony. Milos is full of wonderful very diverse beaches but our favorite water time was swimming in the peaceful bay right outside our front steps. Madusa (one of the best restaurants I've ever been to) is just steps from the house. Our host was so helpful with beach and restaurant recommendations. She even contacted me the day before we were scheduled to arrive to warn of windstorm that was coming and helped us find alternate transport when all the ferries and flights were cancelled. She even picked us up at the port in the middle of the night because our car rental place wasn't open yet. Super comfortable beds. The kind hospitality and location and view and comfortable home made for a perfect vacation. Mandrakia Milos is truly one of the most special places in Greece and the Traditional Waterfront House was the best place to stay and made the whole trip to Milos perfect. We will be back!
