About this house rental

Villa with swimming pool and its adjoining pavilion, quiet and not overlooked, 6 km from the sea and 1 km from the village of Saint Paul and La Colle sur loup. Swimming pool redone in 2018 secured with fence and alarm, private petanque ground.
The wooded grounds are fenced.

The adjoining pavilion is rented with the villa, which gives you a certain privacy if you come to several families.

If you are looking for a rustic get away with French charm you’ve found your villa. The pool is just the icing on the cake. There are AC’s in each bedroom, the living areas are large and airy and the kitchen well equipped. This is not a modern villa so if that’s your preference then maybe it’s not for you. The walk into town is about 30 mins and there are lots of art shops and restaurants it’s hilly so you may want to allow extra time!

We stayed for 2 weeks in June/July 2025 very comfortably. Our group consisted of eight adults and three children aged 1-8years.The pool and grounds were excellent, the kitchen was well equipped and the living room was spacious.Air conditioning in bedrooms was very welcome. Any small niggles were quickly sorted out by Pascal who was easy to contact and responsive. We will be booking again.

We spent 2 weeks in July at the villa, 9 of us. We were greeted by Etienne who showed us around and gave his number to contact if any issues. The villa is rustic and charming, has everything you need. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was perfect.The terrace and pool were great, with a terrific view of La Colle sur Loup. There was some stormy weather and the pool was full of debris from trees and changed colour, i mentioned to Etienne and Pascal and he got a pool guy to sort it immediately. Walking to La Colle sur Loup and St Paul de Vence took 10-15mins, quite hilly but good exercise. They are lovely villages with nice shops and restaurants. The supermarché is just 5mins frive away.We would recommend this villa, it's in an excellent location, handy for the beach, the hills and the airport. Pascal is a great host. We would return here in future.

We stayed here with six adults and three children for a family get-together and felt completely at home. The house is beautifully furnished, with clean and comfortable rooms. We especially loved the great view and the fantastic pool, which everyone enjoyed. The location is quiet and perfect for relaxing. Check-in was completely hassle-free, and communication with the hosts was very friendly and helpful. Overall, we were very happy and would gladly come back anytime. Highly recommended!

We stayed for one week at this amazing place and villa located in utmost beautiful surroundings close to ancient towns, Nice and Côte d’Azur nearby. We were a family who absolutely enjoyed everything about the villa. It has plenty of space to be together, yet also separate to each bathroom/bedrooms if when needed. The pitside was atmosphere was natural, open and with amazing views. The villa also has a beautiful swimming pool placed in absolute sun for full utilization throughout the stay. We would highly recommend and if/when possible we will definitely return.

The villa was great for our extended family group (6 adults, 3 children) - plenty of space indoors and out. We spent most of our time outdoors: in the pool, sitting on the spacious terrace, playing petanque, and having BBQs each night. The hillside view from the pool is lovely! Pascal was a good host and quick to respond to any questions and resolve any issues. Location is great and very easily accessible from Nice airport. You can walk to La Colle sur Loup to the boulangerie in the morning, or for dinner in the evening. By car there are lots of interesting towns and sites around. We particularly enjoyed Vence and Tourettes sur Loup, and some of the museums and galleries nearby. Would definitely recommend.

We really liked this villa. Spacious, slightly quirky in a good way, fab pool and garden. It was in a lovely village below the medieval village of St Paul de Vence and both were a walkable distance so great for restaurants. Not far to Nice either. Good comms with the owner too. Would recommend.

We have just returned from the most amazing holiday . The house was perfect for 12 family and friends. So nice to be able to walk to the village for croissants in the morning and a steeper walk to St Paul de Vence to explore the cobbled lanes and many art shops. Pascal was always available at the end of the phone and the local help was friendly and helpful and spoke English. The setting was wonderful for outdoor eating and barbeques, lying by the immaculately clean pool and enjoying the natural views. All the equipment required was there. The house arrangement was perfect and very comfortable and felt like home. We had a truly fantastic holiday in a perfect house for our needs (including one adult wheelchair user). Thank you Pascal. Great location as a base for the Cote d'Azur attractions, with easy access to Nice, including a bus 10-15 mins walk from the villa. Spacious accommodation, private, well equipped and good standard. Quiet neighbourhood with a great view, fabulous large pool for swimming and sunbathing. Showers downstairs could be updated, but fully adequate for 2-week stay.

We are a family of 10 - 6 adults and 4 children 5,7,9 and 11 we had a fantastic time, large house , great pool. We stayed in the house for 2 weeks. However the description of the amenities are misleading - the air conditioning is only in 2 bedrooms, and there was no on-site housekeeper so we had to wash all indoor towels and bed linens ourselves but the clothes airer outside wasn’t clean or fit to hang large items on it. But apart from the above everything else was really good, we had a great time and we were very glad we found the house on the HomeAway site.

Excellent communication with Pascal. The garden, outside area and pool are beautiful. There is a mosquito problem which would have been nice to know about in advance. The property is of good size,well equipped and comfortable. Excellent position for visiting the coast and the hill top villages. My favourites were St Paul de Vence, Antibes, Golfe Jaun and Villfranche sur mer.

We had a family reunion at the villa and all had a great time specially the kids with the swimming pool. There was 10 of us and there was plenty of space for all. The villa was spacious, well presented, kitchen well equipped. The swimming pool a big bonus. Pascal was very helpful and responded quickly when we needed him. Good location too. Brilliant rural french house with pool. We took 8 but 10 easy would fit. All beds were comfortable and rooms were of a good size. Nice pool with safety fence and nice grounds with boules court. Pascal showed us round on the day we arrived and was a very good host we did not need him until the day of departure. The house is full of caracter and has great features. Outside there are two barbeques which we used and the outside dining area was excellent. The location is great sandwiched between la colle sur loup and st paul de vence both are a must for any tourist or local. La colle is a 15 min walk st paul 30 mins or uber 8 euro. We had guest fly in to nice which is 10km away so really easy for them 22 euro on uber. Supermarkets are within 2km of the house so you will need a car. We took our dog the house is securely fenced and he loved it. Highly recommend this property and owner Thank you pascal

This is a beautiful traditional french family home with a tranquil garden and fantastic pool. The kitchen is fully equipped for large numbers and all the bedrooms and the living room are very comfortable. It's easy to find shade from the sun if required with many lush trees casting shade and the pool is safely fenced and alarmed protecting children from danger. Communication with Pascal the owner is very good before and during the stay. For those who love the outdoors there are many lovely places nearby especially if you have a car. St Paul de Vence is magical and in comfortable walking distance up the hill. The 400 bus service is very reliable and will take you all the way to Nice for 1.5 Euros. There are supermarkets a short drive away and a lovely patisserie. Highly recommended, would go back tomorrow if we could!

Det perfekte feriehus til både voksne og børn (fra 4 til 18 år). Dejlige rummeligs værelser med aircondition, flere badeværelser og toiletter samt annex, som var pefekt til teenagebørn eller enkelt par. fantastisk pool for både store og små med skøn udsigt og god sikkerhed for børn med både hegn og poolalarm. Altid hurtigt svar fra værten og Meget imødekommende modtagelse på stedet. Dejligt meget plads overalt og især dejligt med god plads i køkkenet til mange mennesker. 2 Store køleskabe, vaskemaskine og tumbler var også dejligt at have til rådighed. Skønt med overdækket terrasse, så alle kunne finde skygge i de varme timer. Helt ny Weber-grill, autentiske petanque-bane og -kugler til rådighed. Eneste minus er den meget stejle stigning op til Saint-Paul de Vence, hvor klapvogne og familiens ældste måtte give op og tage bilen -vi havde håbet på at kunne gå derop og lade bilen stå. Vores anbefalinger herfra.

Das Anwesen besticht sehr durch seine Großzügigkeit und den wundervollen Blick und den sehr schönen Pool. Man könnte etwas mehr Liebe in die Pflege des Gartens und die Sauberkeit des Hauses stecken. Sämtliche Sanitäre Einrichtungen samt Küche sind jedoch im 1980er Originalzustand und bedürfen dringend einer Renovierung.

Bonne situation: près des diverses villes que nous souhaitions visiter: Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Menton, St Paul de Vence....et à la fois située dans un endroit calme. Ontvangst was prettig en de eigenaar stelde zich zeer flexibel op. Wij werden in de gelegenheid gesteld om voor de afgesproken incheck tijd al gebruik te maken van een een deel van de accommodatie. De villa voldoet volledig aan hetgeen beschreven staat op de site. Villa werd schoon opgeleverd. Alles functioneerde naar wens. Wat wel op te merken is dat het afdak aan de villa bij goed weer een fijne plek is om te zitten en te eten echter wanneer het regent is het niet aangenaam, in deze week 1 keer kort meegemaakt. Wij hebben een fantastische week gehad met 6 volwassenen en 4 kinderen in de leeftijd van 6 tot 1 jaar. Bijzonder veel plezier gehad aan en in het zwembad, hoewel het wel jammer is dat er slechts een klein deel is waar je kunt staan. Supermarkt en het nieuwe grote winkelcentrum Polygone zijn met de auto makkelijk te bereiken. Ook is er een goede busverbinding naar Nice (kosten 2 EURO enkele reis).Voor bezoek van de omgeving is een auto wel noodzakelijk, er is sprake van behoorlijke hoogteverschillen. Ook het uitchecken verliep makkelijk naar een korte rondgang en controle op eventuele schades werd de borg weer overhandigd. De aanbevolen taxidienst was keurig op tijd. Pascal (de eigenaar) was servicegericht. Wij gaan hier zeker nog eens terugkomen.

It was a very spacious and beautiful villa, near shops, excellent bakery and other facilities. I stayed with my husband and 3 kids and we all enjoyed the beautiful environment and especially, the swimming pool! The landlord is very nice and provided lots of information for places to visit. Belle maison provençale spacieuse, idéale pour 2 familles ou vacances entre amis. Très calme entre la Colle sur Loup et St Paul, le bus est à 10 mn à pied mais la voiture est plus pratique. Grand jardin ombragé, la terrasse très agréable qui a la vue sur le village de la Colle et une piscine très propre en contre bas. Pour les équipements de la maison point positif la literie qui est neuve et très confortable, point négatif la cuisine est un peu viellotte et le ménage est un peu superficiel mais depuis le propriétaire a changé la gazinière. Nous avons passé de belles vacances.
