About this villa rental

Magnificent Andalusian style villa renovated in 2024 located 10 minutes walk from the beach. Close to a small shopping center with bars, restaurants and all amenities. The property has 4 bedrooms. 3 beautiful bedrooms on the ground floor and a large master suite with two private terraces with a magnificent sea view upstairs. The house has a brand new fitted kitchen, 3 bathrooms, a spacious and bright living room with a view of the terrace and the large private heated swimming pool. The villa is located in a quiet street in Calahonda, 10 minutes from Marbella, 3 minutes from the port of Cabopino (one of the most beautiful ports on the coast) and 25 minutes from Puerto Banus. Malaga Airport is 20 minutes from the motorway. You will find many equipment and games for children there (pétanque, pool games, outdoor plancha and fridge, children's games, children's bed, board games, mountain biking, washing machine, dryer, etc.)

An absolutely stunning property decorated and equipped beautifully throughout. We stayed with our two children (aged 12 & 8) my sister in law and husband and parents. The villa was spacious for us all. Pool and outside area is fantastic with plenty of shade if needed. The pool was cleaned three times over the course of the 11 nights we were there. The added table tennis table there was a delight for my 12 year old son. The villa has everything a family needs for a relaxing stay rooms are large and airy with the added bonus of air con when needed. The villa is located close to shops and restaurants and there are plenty of supermarkets nearby that are very reasonably priced. Communication with the owners were excellent prior to, during and after our stay to ensure everything was ok. We cannot recommend this villa enough and would love to come back soon to stay again

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Trocadero. We were a group of 9 and there was plenty of space for sleeping, cooking, eating, and lounging indoors and out. The management was very responsive to our requests and sent someone immediately when an issue arose. The location is great but you will need a car to get to the nicer beaches - especially with smaller kids - but some of us walked or jogged to the beach on a few occasions, which was close enough. Restaurants and shops are very close, however. I would definitely recommend taking a drive into Malaga center - we left it for the end of the trip and regretted not spending more time there.

Great villa which was perfect for our summer holiday. The facilities brilliantly catered for two families with teenagers. The villa is located close to shops and restaurants with the beach only a short walk away. Mael was an amazing host who communicated well throughout our stay answering any questions we had. We stayed as a family of 8 (4 couples) and 2 children (2 and nine months). Excellent communication with Mael when needed. The private pool was fantastic and really made the holiday. Mael was very helpful on check out which really helped when travelling with a baby. Restaurants/a few bars and small mini markets just a few minute walk away. Having a car was helpful for going to do bigger shops at Mercadona/Lidl (both less than 5 minutes in car). Beach was probably a bit far to walk to with prams however an Uber there was only about 6 euro if needed and we were happy by the pool. Thanks Mael!

We had a fantastic stay, the owner Mael was brilliant start to finish. We got a call the day before arrival telling us we didn’t have to wait and just go straight to the villa upon arrival, this was a great help. The villa was spotless throughout, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The outdoor area was a great size, and the outdoor fridge also helped. The only thing that I would say is, the pool could do with some attention. Other than that we had an amazing holiday and would not hesitate to book again. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Lovely, villa with a good size pool and garden. The villa is very spacious with 4 good size bedrooms and 3 nice bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need if you wanted to stay in and cook or BBQ. The garden had the sun in it all day and the built in seat at the end of the pool was a sun trap in the late afternoon. Good location with a couple of small supermarkets and restaurants a few minutes walk away. You can walk down to the beach in a round 10-15 minutes under the road. Lovely walk along the beach it you turn left when you get to the beach. Had a very enjoyable stay with my family and small grandchild and would recommend the villa.

Very impressed with villa, good location, well equipped and lovely pool/outdoor area. We all had great fun in the pool and enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. Calahonda beach is about 10/15 mins down hill and there’s a nice walkway either way with nice beach bars. Short walk to some lovely restaurants/bars where we enjoyed tasty meals & drinks. Owner was very helpful.

A perfect 2 weeks in the sunshine with family ❤️ A perfectly well equipped villa with all the necessary needs for our families. 4 adults and 6 children between us (aged from 1-7!) A very short walk to the small express shop for essentials (bread, milk etc) - but not cheap! Short 10-15 minute walk to Lidl and Mercadona (uphill on the way back!) a great place to shop for all holiday needs!

We are a family of 6 adults and had plenty of room. Great sized pool with a very deep end and good outside space with shade. Good restaurants very close by, we particularly enjoyed Bogarts. Travelled by car to Capobinho Beach which was great. Good communication with the owner at all times.

This Villa was just perfect for our large extended family of 7 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space for all, kitchen very well stocked for cooking, nice BBQ area, and the pool was just the best. Lots of toys for the children too. House was nice and clean, had everything we needed. Also close to beach and shops. Mael was super responsive and friendly throughout the booking and stay. We had a wonderful relaxing time. Highly recommend for large families.

We were in the accommodation for a week with two families and four children. It was a great stay. The house has enough space for larger groups and everything was as in the pictures and descriptions. Unfortunately, a second baby chair was missing. The owner was very easy to reach at any time and always friendly The house is perfectly located near restaurants (also take away) and about 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach

10 of us, 3 families, stayed here for a week. We had a really lovely time. The villa was big enough for us not to be on top of each other. The pool is a great size, love the steps going in, much easier for the kids than ladders. Well equipt kitchen, plenty of kids plates bowls and cutlery too! The local area is great, a few nice restaurants within walking distance and a little express supermarket. There is a beach close by but cabopino beach is much nicer, soft sand as opposes to shingly sand on the closer beach. Worth the 5/10 minute drive, plenty of parking there. Only downsides, if there are a lot of you, there wasn't enough towels really. And the hot water ran out when 4 of us had a shower around the same time. Mael was always quick to respond to any questions and very helpful. We would stay again.

We had a great week here! The villa was really well equipped with everything we could need. Especially in the kitchen! There were travel cots, high chairs, toys, games and pool toys for the kids. Really useful and helped keep two toddlers occupied. The check in process was really easy and everything was explained well. Prior to our visit any questions we had were answered really quickly. The villa is in a perfect location and we could walk to plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The villa itself is nicely decorated and the views from the upstairs balcony were gorgeous. We will definitely be booking to come back next year.

The house is spaceful enough, even for 10 guests. The garden part is also enough for everyone's demands. There is everything needed in the house. Even seats and cradles for little babies. The shops, restaurants, car hire, bus station are nearby. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Very supportive staff. We recommend the house.

We just got back from a Christmas holiday with 6 adults, 2 children and 1 baby and couldn’t be happier with our choice of villa. The house was clean, well stocked and looked like, if not better, than the photos. The property itself is spacious, well decorated, has a wonderful outdoor space and beautiful balcony views. There is easy parking and many things to do within walking distance such as groceries, the beach, pubs, restaurants and a park. All communications with the owner were wonderful. We had a very lovely Christmas thanks in large part to our choice of villa. Because we were there in December, it was too cold to use the pool and would love to visit in the summer months as the pool looked really nice. I would definitely recommend this villa!

The best part of the property was the outside terrace and pool. It was great to have some pool “toys’ for the kids. The villa was spacious but a bit tired inside. Parking was a problem with only one space available. It would have helped to have some advice on where to park a second car to avoid inadvertently upsetting the neighbours. Overall these were minor problems and we found the owner to be very helpful and responsive.

We had a very nice holiday staying at the property. The location enabled my parents to be able to go out for dinner with just a short walk to local restaurants. My husband and I enjoyed morning runs to the beach and along the lovely wooden promenade. We frequently went to Andy's beach in the day which we loved and is just 5 minutes (ish) drive away and to get around a car really is essential. We all enjoyed the pool and the porch area was lovely and offered welcome relief from the sun. We ate at the villa most evenings using the hot plate outside while the kids enjoyed late evening swimming. My dad is traditional and loves a coal bbq but he was converted after using the hot plate! The downstairs bedroom with ensuite was perfect for my parents as they could come straight from their bedroom for a swim in the morning. The upstairs bedroom is really lovely and big and by far the best! Kitchen was great and had everything we needed and more. On the downside the beds downstairs could have been a bit more comfortable but were ok and it would have been nice to have a more frequent pool service. However the owner was very responsive to any issues and checked in on us to make sure we were ok several times. Overall a very nice holiday!

We have just come back from a 13 night stay in Calahonda. We loved our stay at the villa, and would readily return.The villa itself is nicely open plan with four bedrooms. Only one is upstairs and that is huge, covering all the eaves. All of the rooms were clean, nicely decorated, as were the bathrooms. We particularly enjoyed the fact that you could see from the kitchen out to the pool.The kitchen is very well stocked - all appliances, glasses and cups that you could wish. And as with the rest of the villa, clean on arrival, and very easy to keep so.The outside has a lot of shaded areas, and tables, meaning that we predominantly ate each meal outside. The pool is a lovely size, getting deeper (around 8 - 10 ft at deepest, to around 3-4ft at shallowest).The villa is in a great location for restaurants and shops. Within a few hundred meters there is a selection of 10+ restaurants, Tapas, Chinese, Pizza, Indian and an English Restaurant. All that we ate at were great quality. My recommendations were the traditional Chinese restaurant Slowboat, and the modern Tapas beside it, Tapavino.There is a plethora of supermarkets about, but all do require a car, a fair bit over a comfortable walk.I also have to say that Pierre, the owner, was incredibly helpful, lots of time for our questions, responding promptly.

Just spent 10 nights at this wonderful villa with my family of 6 adults and 4 children. Had everything we could possibly need and was in walking distance to a small mini market and a few bars and restaurants. Larger supermarket and more restaurants and bars are around 4 minute drive from the villa (20 minute walk). We spent most days around the fabulous pool and had a BBQ a couple of evenings too.

We were a party of grandparents, parents and three boys. The upstairs double bedroom was perfect for the grandparents and the downstairs rooms accommodated parents and children. The kitchen is the best equipped I have ever come across in holiday accommodation with a good range of cooking utensils and pots. It was also great to find herbs and spices in the cupboards and dishwasher tablets. We didn't use the washing machine but a dish washer is a bonus on holiday. The villa is user friendly for three boys with a lot of energy and the pool is a great size. The only thing I would say about the pool is that it is very deep at the deep end and it would not be advisable to allow children who cannot swim near it without adult supervision or swimming aids. There is an outside cupboard with balls, noodles, a child's tent and toys for the children. Although the villa is by the sea it is difficult to get to without a car because of the main road that cuts through the area.

overall we had a half decent stay with a good few problems which the owner tried to resolve but after our return I wanted a refund because of the state of the villa ie te sofas were filthy, the pool kept on going green there were rats in the garden, there weren't enough cups in the cupboard, no sat tv, no heated pool we returned home and this owner blocked my number and now wont speak to me so legal action is being taken I would not go to this villa or any of the ignorant owners villas if it was free he is a rogue who wants your money and isn't interested about you one little bit, if you can get a villa in the area I would as the area is nice but stay away from this one

Amazing villa in a good location

The villa is well equipped, clean, modern and comfortable. The pool was amazing and there was more than enough space to relax around it too. The villa also fairly easy to find and is a very shirt walk to local shops, restaurants and bars. The beach is not too far away, downhill to the beach, uphill on the way back though! We thoroughly enjoyed the villa, the location and communication with the owner and management was easy and effective. We would definitely stay again!

10 of us stayed at this villa. very clean, lovely kitchen. Realistically only 2 good bathrooms, 3rd bathroom is in need of renovation, horrible tin sink. No one wanted to use this bathroom which was a minus. Garden furniture in need of renovation. Table chairs broken so we had to use inside chairs.Hopefully the owner will improve. walk to a small beach was 20 mins down hill. Car preferable. Make sure you get the full address, we arrived and waited 2 hours for correct address.

We were a family of 8 staying in the villa, including a 5 year old and a 2 year old. There was everything we could possibly need there; everything had been thought of, including for the children. Its a tasteful, private villa. It is very convenient for bars and restaurants, being only 5 minutes walk away. We will be staying there again next year.

Très bon séjour dans une chouette maison très propre et chouette déco entièrement équipée . Un accueil et suivi optimal de la part du propriétaire. Maison idéale pour un séjour en famille ou amis. Nous avons passé un séjour en famille (5 adultes et 4 enfants) dans cette très jolie maison pour les fêtes de fin d'année. La maison est spacieuse, magnifiquement décorée, très bien équipée aussi bien à l'intérieure qu'à l'extérieure. L'emplacement est idéal, dans un quartier calme, non loin des commodités, de la plage et à proximité de grande villes alentours. Le propriétaire est d'une grande disponibilité et très prévenant. Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour dans cette villa que nous recommandons sans hésiter!
