The living area feels large due to the wide-open living room and kitchen, opening on one end to the deck and on the other to the front porch with classic rocking chairs. With live-edged Walnut countertops, custom cabinetry, open shelving, and stainless appliances, this uniquely laid out kitchen allows for intimate cooking or open entertaining. The Living room/Dining area features a large table for six and a comfortable sitting area with a sleeper sofa. A half bath and the large deck finish off the first floor. Ascend the staircase to the two bedrooms with their unique angles & high ceilings, The Master has a queen bed, dresser, and custom built-in closet. The other bright bedroom has bunk beds. The intimate bath with small soaking tub completes the second floor. The first and second floors are air conditioned with a system that was recently installed. Situated on the top of a hill 3.5 miles from Charlestown Beach, the 5+ acre property has its own walking trails and offers tremendous privacy. Off the front porch there is a new outdoor shower, kids play set, a fire pit with seating, and a hammock. On the back deck there is a sitting area, grill, and a large open air dining space. With just enough lawn area to play games, this house makes a great getaway!

The Hideaway was just the quiet retreat we needed! Beautiful (and interesting…what architecture!) and very clean home, gorgeous grounds and a great location so close to all of the fun In Charlestown! The front porch was a heaven to relax in and enjoy the shade and breezes in warm days…loved it!!

My family of 5 (and little dog) had a wonderful stay at The Hideaway this past week. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful property. Katrina’s home is very secluded, nestled in the trees for a peaceful, quiet, and uninterrupted sanctuary. My 2 little boys thoroughly enjoyed the swing, play area, hammock, and outdoor shower. Inside, they loved spending time in the crow’s nest looking out around the property. My 4 month old spent a lot of time hanging on the covered porch while her brothers played, and it was really nice having the rocking chairs for her to take a nap on me. Katrina was very accommodating and pleasant. We hope to come back and stay again!

Katrina was the perfect host and was available by text several times. The check-in couldn't have been easier. The pictures posted on Vrbo do not deceive! The property and the house are that beautiful. We loved it! It was the perfect place to settle for a week to launch our granddaughter at Narragansett High School graduation. Our 2 small dogs also loved it and couldn't get enough of walks on the paths and in the woods. We live in VT, so only a few hours away from Charlestown, RI, and we hope to return.
