About this house rental
Our holiday home is the perfect place to relax on the deck with a glass of local wine in peaceful surroundings, while the children play on the large section and explore the hills which are visible from the deck.
Located within easy walking distance to the shops, and many quality cafes and restaurants, some of which which offer a courtesy coach.
The famous Rail Trail is one block back. Walking, running and cycling tracks are aplenty, catering for all abilities. The track running along the Clutha River from Alexandra to Clyde (12km) is both shaded in summer and spectacular in Autumn.
Lake Dunstan offers swimming and boating, whilst the river caters for the fisherman.
Several fine wineries many offering tastings are all close by, with Bannockburn and it's many wineries is about 20 mins drive away.
Alexandra Golf Course is close by, also Clyde Golf Course.
Historic Clyde is only 8 km away, which offers fine cafes, movie theatre and wonderful old stone buildings.
While beautiful Wanaka and Queenstown are only an hours drive away, our home offers a relaxing place to come home too.

Overall was great, pictures just eluded to extra beds which were in a locked sleep out so we had one person sleeping on the couch as we needed 2 doubles and 3 singles. House was lovely though and we enjoyed the stay.

Very clean cosy house. Lovely big deck at the front. Had everything we needed. Would recommend.

Excellent location to town.
Very close to our favorite Cafe in Alexandra.
The house is great and has excellent facilities.
Only thing I would recommend would be a lockable outside shed/ garage for sports equipment.
Would love to be able to use this place again.
