Part we stayed in did not come with breakfast.
We just know that if we ever need to overnight again at Swellendam this will be a destination.

The owner was very friendly and allowed me to check-in early. He also did the laundry for me which was appreciated. The room was spacious and the whole place was well maintained.
There was no A/C and the room was pretty hot and it was not easy to air it out in the evening. There was no table or chair at the front porch at first, then the owner brought some, but then the next day the table disappeared again. Really a small detail, but I found it odd.

Location, the views, the friendly staff and a the warm welcome from the owner.
The facilities are well maintained and clean.
I would recommend them x10 for anyone who's around or passing Swellendam.

Good location.
The pool was green and we were not told this before arriving and the fee was not reduced. Swellendam has a water shortage which has an impact on the pool but we were not told this before getting there. When we arrived the pool was open but green and then the following day it was covered.
