Just 35 km southwest of Interlaken, on the quiet edge of the village of Kandergrund, this lovingly renovated chalet offers a cosy alpine escape. The tastefully furnished 30 m² apartment, with its own private entrance, is perfect for two guests seeking comfort and charm in the Bernese Oberland. Inside, you’ll find a welcoming living-bedroom with a soft double bed, warm electric heating, and everything you need for a snug retreat after a day in the mountains. A separate dining room on the ground floor completes the setup, while outside, the garden terrace invites you to relax with a glass of wine or a morning coffee against the breathtaking backdrop of the Blümlisalp massif.

In winter, the slopes of the Adelboden-Lenk and Kandersteg ski areas are just a short drive away. We enjoyed our holiday in Switzerland, super hospitable owners of property Stöckli. We got all the detailed information available in order to plan our vacation. Well For us a week was certainly lacking even though we did not have great weather every day. In the house everything was there that you needed. Delicious no TV, but wifi and a radio so you could check news and weather. We did not need more. In short, for us a great holiday!

(Mid-January) and not much sun. But above there was enough snow. Cottage was fine. The bed in the room was not a problem. Could you fold up if you wish. Was easy. Space enough for 2 people. And also fully equipped. Only no TV, but we do not. Missed From the cottage you can go either way. Was a bit tricky to find. Shortly after restaurant right side.

We had a wonderful week here. Very nice owner (Dutch speaking) who like to give tips. The cottage is small but cozy and equipped with all comforts. It's bed is moderate. Also from within views (white peaks). Outside the cottage also good for each other. Privacy and tidy. The location is ideal to make close to many attractions. Trips Highly recommended.

Unfortunately it was during that week alternately bad weather, with rain also has been on the road all day. Once the weather was Niessen on the train for a breathtaking 360 degree views including Jungfrau, Munch and Eiger, Lake Thun and Vosges. Tip for slechtweerdag: by train to Bern, beautiful city and largely covered walk along the shops. Another tip: the photogenic Oeschinensee, with the elevator and then the whole journey first to Obergürgli and then descend to Kandersteg, fairly long hard trip but beautiful. The Kiental is brilliant. Regarding the stay: very warmly received by the Dutch-speaking (or verse alone) owners and children.

The valley and the surrounding mountains offer great hiking trails, the welcoming hosts have accurate maps of the accommodation for the guests and give you good advice - and to local restaurants. We have (with our dog) the week very much.

We were welcomed very friendly and were very nice tips where you could walk quite fun etc. We had a fantastic lookout mountain views from our cottage and lots privaci already lived the people next to us. We like to go again we enjoyed.

Poor little cottage with comfort, bad bed.Tv now comes as standard house to be present, if only for the weather to volgen.de thoroughfare Kandergrund is very busy and become very disturbing encountered if you sit outside on your terras.Bij description of the house, do not become clearly described that a bovenwonging, we had a young dog with no stairs that actually could still walk (we had always the stairs and pay). No. We had this house certainly not taken if we all had this geweten.Eigenaars were very friendly and helpful.

We have a wonderful holiday spent in the house and because Kandergrund area.The house is clean and tastefully decorated especially for two people. The fact that the homeowner during the period of our stay was on holiday in the Netherlands, contributed to our need for peace and privacy (because the house is under the same roof is like that of the homeowner.) The surroundings are really beautiful and attractive for those who enjoy walking. The neighboring village of Kandersteg is nice and cozy to visit because of the terraces and associated views of the mountains with snow. It is also a center from which several beautiful mountain walks zijn.En last but not least, the pure air to breathe is delicious!

Ik heb al vaker in dit chalet verbleven, eerst toen mijn vrouw nog meekon en daarna alleen. Mijn vrouw kon later niet meer mee vanwege haar ziekte van Alzheimer. Alle keren is mijn ervaring dezelfde. Het is een klein chalet, eigenlijk een minichalet, met een woon- en slaapkamer tegelijk door de constructie van een opklapbaar bed. Eerder konden - veronderstel ik - ook kinderen er verblijven omdat er een soort verdieping is boven de badkamer en bereikbaar via een trap zoals bij een stapelbed. Of dat nu nog steeds kan weet ik niet. Ik zie er geen matras meer liggen. De inrichting is eenvoudig, geen luxe maar wel zijn de noodzakelijke voorzieningen aanwezig. Het is altijd schoon en opgeruimd bij aankomst. Vóór het chalet is een terrasje op het zuiden. Daar in de zon zitten is in het najaar heerlijk. Vanwege de grootte en inrichting is de huurprijs nog steeds zeer schappelijk. De gastvrouw en -heer zijn hartelijk. Vanwege haar Nederlandse afkomst spreekt het echtpaar ook Nederlands. Het chalet is een echte aanrader voor - lijkt mij - echtparen of alleenstaanden. Voor gezinnen met kinderen, zowel kleine kinderen als pubers, is het waarschijnlijk te klein.

Niet nodig, want ik ben er al meerdere keren geweest. Accommodatie is eenvoudig, maar wel toereikend en net. Voor Zwitserse begrippen heeft de accommodatie een aantrekkelijke prijs. De ligging is gelukkig ook niet in een super toeristische omgeving. Misschien is plaatsing van een magnetron nog een goede aanvulling.

Het vakantiehuisje voldeed helemaal aan onze verwachtingen. Het ligt in het rustige dorpje Kandergrund van waaruit je allerlei dagtrips kunt maken. De bergen in b.v. naar Kandersteg of naar de mooie Thunersee. Heel veel wandelmogelijkheden. Het huisje is niet heel groot maar voor ons groot genoeg. Vanuit de woon- slaapkamer heb je een mooi uitzicht op de bergen, De eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en spreken nederlands en duits. Wij hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad en heel fijn dat onze hond ook welkom was.
