About this apartment rental

Located in the charming village of Duingt with direct views on Annecy Lake and surrounding mountains (Haute-Savoie, France), my "Modern Loft" is a fully-equipped and modern 47 square meters one-bedroom apartment located on the ground-floor for up to 4 people. The residence has private access to the lake for swimming. You may also consider my two other listings "Stylish Upper Loft" and "Cozy Loft" for further availability.

The apartment: You'll enjoy the charm of the region from a peaceful and cozy home, a short drive from Annecy Old Town. High ceilings give a comfortable amount of light and appreciable volume.

Double bedroom, extension for two persons on the sofabed. Baby-bed available. Bathroom with shower and independent toilet. Balcony/Terrace. Private car park slot and shared storage for skis / bikes.

The residence is a few meters away from the cycling lane circling Lake Annecy, a 12-minutes drive from the charming Old Town and 30-min from nearest ski resorts.

Bakery and supermarket 100 m, pharmacy 2 km.

Residence private access to the lake for short swims (boat moorings booking: please contact Doussard Town Hall). Suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Wifi internet included.

Perfect Lakeside Location

This was the perfect place for our stay. So convenient - we parked literally right outside our balcony gate! No stairs to carry things up like many European properties. Gated access to a beautiful private beach and swimming area just across the road, and the bike path that runs around the entire lake is just yards away. We quickly found the walking path through the "old city" to the patisserie every morning. Wonderful. House is very nice, and despite other concerns we had seen about the view, we found it to be quite a lovely setting - woke up every morning to "les dents" of the mountains in our window, and a very nice view of the lake from the main room. There is a heavily traveled road a few meters away, but the house was very quiet and it did not bother us at all. Also, it was very hot while we were there (30-35 degrees C), and we were worried about the house not being air conditioned. Do not worry! It sits directly in front of a large rock face, and is kept wonderfully cool. We closed the doors and shades while we were gone and returned to a nice cool home. We even needed the covers on the bed at night. This is a lovely property. A real find , a perfect location and a great value. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The apartment is very near the lake. It was comfortable enough for us. We came with 2 persons. We were welcomed by the owner and she could answer our questions in some English. The bed could be better. We would suggest a new mattress. Though there isn't air conditioning, the apartment and bedroom are cool enough, because the sun isn't on the balcony after 12:00 pm Everything needed is there, except a radio, but listening to music by television is also an option. The cooking plate is a bit old fashioned, but you get used to it quickly. We had a very pleasant stay and when you are by car (which you can park on a privat parking), there is enough to visit in the region

We was given a warm welcome by Sylvie and her husband who was on hand through tout our stay. The apartment is nice but felt it was in totally the wrong place. Had it been on the top floor and not the ground floor we would have been happier. We are also a couple that like windows open of a night but there were no windows to open so found the apartment a little opressive. Unfortunately the lake view was almost non existant, trees blocked the view, the view you get from the apartment is of the car park through a green wire fence. If you like car/bike/lorry/coach spotting, the road outside will suit you perfect-the traffic is non stop from early morning; the weekends in August were horrendous. On the plus side, we loved walking through the old village, loved the mountains and loved Lake Annency and would return, but not here. We spent little time in the apartment only using it as a place to sleep and did not enjoy the apartment to relax in as we usually do. It was a shame, but was just not for us. Sorry.

What a wonderful week we had! The apartment was just as described. It was just perfect. It provided all we needed for a very relaxing week with superb views of the lake. The location suited our needs. It was a short car ride into Annecy, and we enjoyed the walks around the lake and the private lakeside area for swimming. The couple who met us at the apartment were wonderful and gave us lots of useful information about the area, best restaurants to eat at with maps and leaflets describing various places to visit. We would love to return to this area and will be looking to see if this apartment is available for our next trip. Many thanks to Irene and hubby for all their help and advice

La vue est incroyable, l'appartement très joli et bien décoré, accès privé au lac, très bien situé, place de parking. La seule chose négative, on a voulu tester avec mon petit chien, du coup logement ou les animaux sont acceptés et l'odeur dans l'appartement était forte..

Appartement neuf, propre dans un immeuble très humide, asthmatique s'abstenir - la route devant l'immeuble, très bruyant, impossible de profiter du beau temps sur le balcon - literie de 1.40 m très "cheap" donc très médiocre. Pour notre part, appartement à ne pas louer si on veut se reposer en profitant du beau temps et de cette belle région.

Appartement bien équipé et propre, accueil correct et région superbe. La situation près de la route laisse présager des désagréments durant l'été. A noter une vue sur le lac dégradée par la clôture grillagée du parking voisin ( appartement situé au rez-de-chaussée). Une petite décoration de l appartement pour Noël aurait été la bienvenue.

Eine schöne Wohnung. Gut eingerichtet und nicht verwohnt. Allerdings ist das Wlan sehr schwach und es steht nur 1GB an Datenvolumen zur Verfügung. Den Bildern nach zu urteilen vermutet man, dass die Wohnung direkt am See ist. Dem ist aber nicht so. Die Wohnung ist auf der anderen Strassenseite und von dort aus kann man nur kleine Teile vom See sehen (schade) und der Verkehrslärm ist enorm. Die Beleuchtung der Terrasse wurde während unseres Aufendhaltes leider nicht repariert, obwohl wir das gewünscht hatten.

Tout d'abord un grand merci à Sylvie et son mari qui nous ont accueillis avec une très grande gentillesse. La location se situe à proximité du village et face au lac d'Annecy. L'appartement est très bien équipé et propre, lumineux avec ses grandes baies vitrées. Un classeur et des brochures sont à notre disposition indiquant les activités possibles et les sites à visiter. De plus, ce qui n'est pas négligeable l'appartement est doté d'un parking privé. Nous avons passé une semaine agréable et ensoleillée. Si nous pouvons, nous reviendrons dans cette région et nous n'hésiterons pas à reprendre contact avec les propriétaires que nous avons pu rencontrer. Ce sont des personnes charmantes et sympathiques. Peut-être aurons nous la chance d'avoir le 1er étage pour avoir une vue plus grande sur le lac.

La location se situe à proximité du vieux village et il est très agréable de se rendre à pied à la boulangerie du Lac (fondée en 1899) par les vielles rues ! L'appartement est très bien équipé, conforme aux photos et décoré avec goût. La vue sur le lac est sur la montagne est magnifique surtout au lever et encore plus au coucher du soleil. Madame Sylvie et son mari nous ont accueillis chaleureusement ainsi qu'au départ. Un petit problème en dehors de l'appartement à été réglé par la propriétaire très rapidement ! Nous avons passé un superbe séjour et nous reviendrons mais au 1er étage.

Nous avions déjà séjourné à 2 reprises dans cet appartement et une fois encore nous sommes entièrement satisfaits. Le logement est vraiment très lumineux, confortable, bien équipé, très propre, conforme à la description. Ayant des soucis de santé, j'ai fortement apprécié l'accès possible par la terrasse ainsi que le lit surélevé. De nombreuses documentations vous permettent de planifier la découverte de la région. Un plus, la place réservée pour la voiture sur le parking privé de la Résidence, accessible par badge, ainsi que l'accès à la plage de l'autre côté de la route par un tunnel souterrain, sans oublier l'accès au wifi. Mention particulière à Sylvie et son mari, les personnes chargées de vous accueillir, pour leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse. Bref tout est réuni pour faire de votre séjour un excellent moment de dépaysement face à ce superbe Lac d'Annecy. Nous avons vraiment hâte de pouvoir y retourner, pour revoir les sympathiques propriétaires et échanger avec eux des propos cordiaux. A très bientôt S. et P. LEBLOND

Nous étions dans un appartement avec mon conjoint, notre fils de 5 mois et notre Huskies, en rdc avec terrasse donnant vu sur le lac et sur les montagnes. Nous avons été totalement conquis, par le nombre d’activité à effectuer, la proximité des commerces, les promenades, et en général par le cadre. Il y a une piste cyclable qui passe juste derrière la résidence, les pistes de skis ne sont pas loin. Très bon rapport qualité prix - les personnes qui nous ont réceptionnés ont été très accueillantes, ils ont su nous expliquer ce qu’il y a à faire à proximité. De plus dans l’appartement nous avons apprécié la présence d’un classeur et de brochures, indiquant les activités aux alentours, des cartes de randonnées, les avis sur des restaurants Super séjour, nous reviendrons. PS : nous avons adoré nous réveiller et avoir vu sur les montagnes de notre lit ❤️
