About this villa rental
Il Vignale is situated on the hills of Lucca, in a large estate producing local red and white wine, honey and extra virgin olive oil, where we have been successfully renting another property, Le Pergole, during last years. It enjoys stunning views of the surrounding countryside with olive groves and fruit trees. The pool area in particular is set in a secluded and very panoramic position, where guests can entertain and relax enjoying the most spectacular views on Lucca and its towers , definitely one of the most beautiful views available on the plain of Lucca. Guests staying here can organize a complimentary wine tasting and a tour of the estate vineyard as well as purchasing products at the estate office.
Il Vignale has been recently restored to a high level with great care and attention to details in order to enhance the original character of an old farmhouse yet granting the best comfort for spending quality time during your holiday. The large vaulted sitting room with stone walls highlights the character of the original structure. The spacious stylish interiors have been tastefully and comfortably furnished to a high level with a nice combination of antique and modern furniture. The property has been equipped with all modern comforts . All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms , air-conditioning and mosquito screens. The garden is fully fenced thus granting complete privacy. An appealing pergola creates the perfect shelter where to gather together for 'al fresco' meals or just relaxing admiring the views. The property is ideal for families travelling with children as the private swimming pool is fenced.
Il Vignale is conveniently located for exploring Tuscany, Lucca is just 5 km away, the Versilia coast is a short drive away (Viareggio seaside resort is at 28 km). The Guests can easily reach also the main towns like Firenze, Pisa and many others.
Cleaning service is included 4 hours a week.

Truly outstanding experience and a wonderful week.
Our contacts a Salogi Villa’s were so communicative, helpful and responsive and their local tips booklet is superb. The same can be said for the on-site staff looking after the villa.
The villa itself is in a fantastic location, not too far from the large free car park on the outskirts of Lucca. The views are breathtaking, the pool and eating areas gorgeous set amongst the olive trees and we really appreciated the complimentary wine/olive oil tour and the selection of home-grown products available to purchase.
The villa is spacious, superbly equipped and the standard of accommodation is very high indeed- certainly amongst the very best we have had over many years.
Thanks to everyone involved - such a relaxing holiday.

The house is perfect! It is probably the best equipped villa we have ever stayed in , it is clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. Views from the pool over countryside to Lucca are amazing. The WiFi was reliable. A wonderful week, thank you.
