Jungle immersion

This property was a wonderful discovery. Mariana and Sebastian, who own and run the nature reserve, are fantastic hosts and made us feel at home. We explored the surrounding jungle, did kayaking on one of the tributaries of Rio Uruguay (guided by Sebastian), literally watched as hundreds of caterpillars morphed into butterflies and, of course, visited the nearby Saltos de Mocona. We are still astounded that Saltos de Mocona is not a better known site, even by Argentinians.
It is one of a kind, read about it in Google. At Chacra del Agua we had all our breakfast and dinners prepared by our hosts. I cannot talk enough about the culinary experience, it was great. My family and I give Chacra all the stars and amply recommend it.
