With two families including 5 “kids” ranging from 17-28, the outside facilities proved a great hit for us all. We really enjoyed location with easy 10 minute walk to village with convenience store, great butchers for some great BBQs we had on upstairs terrace at the villa with great views and sunsets and an excellent taverna. Also good location to explore both Heraklion and Chania.
The description of the property did not make it clear that the villa comprises of 2 separate units with 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms with main kitchen/lounge area downstairs although this configuration was not a problem for us. Interior was not as modern as we were expecting but spotless and had everything we needed, though not cheap.

The size and way it was divided (including 2 kitchens) was perfect for our family group. Facilities were excellent but above all the owners (Stelios and Maria) who live in a bungalow at the far end of the huge garden were simply lovely - they invited us to taste their homemade cheese, bread and Raki, and Stelios appeared with some amazing food for the whole family one night. Their son Antonis was so helpful too. What hospitality! A perfect villa for our family.
Nothing material - it does sit on a main road rather then being elevated in a village, but we didn’t mind that and there was no real noise.
