Bougainville Bay Apartments

The staff and cleaning ladies

Everything was onsite, daily room cleaning, variety of different activities for different people, reception staff attentive

The rooms were nice but I wouldn’t say they were 5stars. Although daily cleaning, small balcony

Quirky, maize like beautiful properties with landscape gardens, beachside bar, pool bar, a few different pools to choose from, and excellent gardens. Personally we didn't leave the complex much because what was on offer was too enticing and what was outside was a second world country of limited historical value. Superb staff, especially Nelly on reception.

It did take quite a while to fix the shower head fitting but that was maintenance fault, not any of the front of house staff.

The hotel itself & the room was really nice. The breakfast was good & the staff at breakfast were lovely. Everything was really clean & the cleaning staff who came daily were great.

The gym was really poor & unfortunately is an important part of my holiday. The reception staff always booked the most expensive taxis & I felt that they knew that you were being ripped off & were complicit which undermines trust in everything. The restaurant for an evening meal was a real let down, very average food, quite expensive & one of your management team treated it like it was his front room talking loudly with his phone on speaker with his friend while he smoked inside the restaurant which really spoiled the evening
