This is a GREAT place to stay. It is a charming hotel. Although it is not fancy it is clean, comfortable, safe and friendly. Good Internet, cold A/C, good water pressure and outstandingly helpful and friendly staff. The location is about a block from the main beach and less then a five minute walk to the Cozumel Ferry or the ADO Bus Station.
"J" at the front desk is friendly and goes out of his way to be helpful. The bellmen/Security guy Emanuel always has a smile for ya and is eager to help. There is a casual restaurant attached to the hotel that is open late.
The rooms open out to an open court yard area with a pool that creates a very nice atmosphere.
The rooms are CLEAN, the beds are comfy. The hotel has a casual relaxing atmosphere with all the comforts you need. When you add the great location and the excellent friendly staff the place is exceptional. Every member of the staff from the front desk, to the maids, bellmen, night maintenance crew are friendly and make you feel welcome. They have a gated entrance that is supervised and the place is safe. If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel that is welcoming and comfortable with an exceptional staff I recommend the Hotel Del Caribe.

Been staying here a night or two for several years before or after scuba trips to Cozumel. Love that each room is different. Always clean. Staff is always friendly. So easy to walk to and from the bus station and ferry terminal. Off 5th Avenue so it’s quiet at night. A very Mexican feeling and looking hotel. Definitely recommend trying it out!

This hotel is associated with another hotel called Hotel Hacienda Real del Caribe, they sent us their without any notice in advance, and that place is super loud because of a dicso next door. It was a nighmare for us since the horrible noise didn't stop until maybe 3 am. There was no way that any of our family can get to sleep. Please avoid this hotel if you want to a good sleep.
