    Location is good as it has easy access to the old town n the different sites. Visited a lot of museums as it is free on Wednesdays. We enjoyed yhe Knight Templars’ Castle n the wslk along the river n sighted many wild flowers there.

    The location is incredible for visiting the Knights Templar castle. The staff are great and the area is very nice. We walked to the castle after sunset, then down along the river, and back via the basilica. All very easy and super safe. One thing to note: the beds in our triple room were very hard. I know that Americans have different tastes than Europeans regarding bed firmness, but these beds were among the hardest I ever experienced. So keep that in mind if you value a comfy bed. The photo is of the basilica tower from our room. Lovely!

    Nothing really jumps out about our stay aside from it had a tub which allowed us to have a nice epsom salt soak while walking the camino.
