Great location & good breakfast

Location is great, just some minutes walk from the train station and the center. Also the breakfast selection was very good, sweet and salty things to choose from. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The single room was small but more than enough for a short trip. I would definitely come again. Also they arranged for my late-check in which was much appreciated. Would stay again for sure

Convenient to the LAC. Affordable. Comforable. Good bus service.

Just a few minutes walk to the LAC and lake views. Our room was spacious with a nice sized balcony, although too cold to enjoy, unfortunately! But we did have a nice view of the mountains. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Our room had a nice sofa and bench. Great shower! Also good sized counter/desk with a coffee maker and safe on it and a fridge underneath. Good breakfast. Dinner available also.

For some reason our room was too hot and resetting the thermostate did nothing. We actually had to open the balcony door a bit. Not their fault but there was construction next door which thankfully ended at 5pm!

Front counter staff were exceptionally helpful. To the extent of providing me with an adaptor when it turned out I'd been sold an adaptor back in Australia that was incompatible with Switzerland. Public transport was very convenient, as was proxmity to the train station.

Getting into the shower took some gymnastics, as there was a 50cm high barrier and a narrow sideways gap into the shower. At 71, this was not easy or safe, and would have been impossible for me two years ago, before surgery and intensive rehabilitation.

This is a family-run hotel, and everyone, especially the owner, Mrs. Monica, was wonderful. However, there’s one particular detail I’d like to highlight: These days, many hotels set up fold-out beds for the third guest, thin, creaky, and uncomfortable ones that even 5-star hotels often use in the name of cost savings. In contrast, this hotel provided a clean, independent single bed for me (as the third guest) which made me feel truly comfortable and allowed to enjoy a restful vacation. For this thoughtful detail and comfort (offering a real bed instead of a noisy sofa bed) the hotel deserves special praise.

I have no complaints about the hotel’s location, the helpfulness of the staff, or the overall value for the price. The breakfast was good as well, though the menu could perhaps be a bit more varied.

Lovely place. A had a terrace to sit on in the morning and watch the swallows. The breakfast room is very pretty and staff very friendly and helpful. And the spot is marvellous if you like the bustle and the beauty of decay ;)

Nice and clean

Clean, good location, good value for Lugano. Public parking garage across the street which is free 19-07h.

Parking isn't guaranteed, someone can take your spot even after you paid for it, if you go somewhere with the car. Breakfast could have a bit more options. Also the double bed is basically 2 single beds put together, so you are kind of falling in the middle.

Our stay was peaceful and very comfortable

It was close to the train station with a bus right outside the door. There was a lift to the room. A large room with all the facilities needed. Staff were excellent and there was a restaurant onsite. Great value for money paid

Room was clean and comfortable for one person. Staff were friendly. Tea/coffe maker was awesome. About location is a bit far from center, almost 10 minutes walk to center, 10 minutes to train and 5 minutes to lake by walk but with Ticino ticket, you are close to everywhere.

-Refrigerator/minibar was not working in a room. -Air conditioner is central and you cannot change the temprature and it was hot sometimes. -As other commemts mentioned breakfast was so poor even doesn’t any Bread tongs or for having cheese or ham

A nice little hotel in a very central area of Lugano.

It was a comfortable hotel, with parking at 10Fr out the back, and the owner/manageress is very friendly and welcoming, bringing me a cappuccino as I waited for my room to be ready. The room was not large but adequate, and the window had to be closed to cut the traffic noise, though there was air conditioning. Breakfast was good, copious, and could be eaten on an outdoor terrace with a view.

If you don't have a satellite-navigator or a good map, the streets can be confusing, but that is not the hotel's fault, as it is on a major street and has a big sign.
