Lovely hotel with good restaurants and beeakfast.we will come here again

The property, while obviously an older building, was well kept and very clean. The room was spacious with a balcony and a decent glimpse of the lake. The bathroom was clean and well equipped. The hotel is within short walking distance of the lake and the centre. We ate well at the adjoining pizzeria.

It was a little noisy due to traffic but if you closed the windows it was silent. This was not a major factor

Debería haber enviado al correo electrónico , una vez se pagó la reserva , los tiquetes gratis del transporte , porque a la llegada a la estación del tren no es fácil comprar los tiquetes del bus y el taxi nos pareció carísimo , hasta la estación central del tren .

Le personnel vraiment très accueillant et avenant. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est très bon et le petit déjeuner est délicieux et varié. La chambre est spacieuse, confortable et propre avec jolie vue sur le lac (chambre sur le toit) La piscine est très rafraîchissante (presque trop, pas sûre qu’elle soit chauffée) mais c’est un coin sympa aussi.

La moquette et les tapis partout, pas modernes et pas hygiénique.

Nette Frühstücksterrasse, Pool, kostenloser Parkplatz, große Zimmer.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und braucht eine Generalüberholung. Ich hab schon lange nicht mehr in so einem altbackenen Hotel geschlafen. Man kommt sich vor wie bei den Großeltern. Angesehen mal davon, dass das Hotel fast direkt an der Autobahn liegt und man am Pool wenig Erholung vom Autolärm findet.

a well kept and cosy traditional hotel in an excellent location

The facilities are well kept, the room was cosy and neat. Antique furniture in the halls and corridors was a nice addition. The swimming pool was better than expected, spatious and deep enough, with a good water purification system. The location is excellent, close to the ferry station and funiculaire, restaurants and supermarkets. The balcony view was incredible overlooking the hills and the whole city.

The breakfast was ok, and the restaurant location is really nice, with a possibility to sit in the garden. However, the food selection variety was very basic. The hotel (and Lugano in general) is very car oriented: the pedestrian entrance and exit is not intuitive and the highway just outside is a bit annoying and quite dangerous to cross.

Außergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt im Hotel De La Paix

Das Zimmer war immer sehr sauber aufgeräumt. Dem Hotel angeschlossen, gab es eine Pizzeria. Ich habe in meiner über 60-jährigen Laufbahn noch nie eine bessere Pizza gegessen als dort - sie war einfach himmlisch. Auch gut fand ich, dass es eine Tiefgarage gab. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal durchwegs auch sehr freundlich. Alles in allem hatten wir einen außergewöhnlich schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel De La Paix.

Da gibt es nichts, was zu erwähnen wäre.

Super staff! Uncomfortable pillows and mattress. Inadequate electrical plugs.

Super A/C (although it could not be set below 19C). Super restaurant breakfast staff! Nice sized room, and pleasant terrace with lake view. Pool open! Complimentary MiniBar!

Uncomfortable -- far too firm for our liking -- beds and (foam) pillows. No kids TV channels. Insufficient number of electrical plugs (and no built in USB) in the room. Hotel seems inefficiently run. We have stayed there many times, but were asked (again) if this was our first stay. Hello??

Wir, Meine Frau , Ich und unser Hund Thypoon wurden sehr Herzlich empfangen..Unser Zimmer war Bezugs bereit .. Zimmer perfekt eingerichtet auch ein Trinknapf für unseren Hund wahr da - Sauberkeit _ TOP Das Personal wahr sehr für unser Wohlergehen bedacht immer zuvorkommend und Sehrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Freundlich und Hilfsbereit - TOP Das Frühstück = Buffet mit seiner immer frischen und grossen Auswahl haben wir sehr geschätzt - Perfekt Wir haben auch die Hotel Bar mit großer Auswahl von Trinks mit oder ohne Alkohol genossen - Den Barkeepern MERCI Auch das Angebot zur freien Fahrt im öv haben wir genutzt , sehr gute Verbindungen , Station 2 Minuten vom Hotel. Das Hoteleigene Restaurant haben wir etliche male besucht und immer sehr gute Küche genossen . Das Personal plus Preis-Leistung sind Top.. Unser Hund Thypoon wurde von ganzen Personal sehr Verwöhnt , er hat die Ferientage auch sehr genossen - Merci Wir Möchten uns noch ganz Herzlich beim Team Hotel de la Paix bedanken.. Sehr freundliches Personal, großes 3er Zimmer mit Seeblick, großer gratis-Parkplatz, täglich 2 Wasserflaschen auf dem Zimmer , Frühstück tipptopp 😊

Teppich im Zimmer, kleine Badewanne unpraktisch zum duschen und Düse zu klein und verstopft. Allgemein in die Jahre gekommen, deshalb auch seltsamer Duft vermutlich vom Teppich im Zimmer … schade
