My mom and I were happy with this accommodation and felt safe here.

The room was spacious, balcony, plenty of parking space (lower lot), great breakfast.

Confusing how to get to lobby entrance from lower parking lot, long wait to check in. Bathroom had what looks mold on the wall in the shower area. Only had one room key and it was needed to place into the wall slot for the lights to work.

Simply unforgettable!

My experience in the Hotel was amazing. The breakfast was perfect because you have so many options. The room was very clean with the best views of the Lugano lake. Moreover, the reception desk (Andersson and Gabriel) were so polite and helpful with everything. Thank you for an amazing experience! Last but not least, a BIG thank you to Antonella I. (Guest Relations) for making our staying unforgettable! We will definitely visit the hotel again very very soon! 🙂

Lovely hotel with good restaurants and beeakfast.we will come here again

The property, while obviously an older building, was well kept and very clean. The room was spacious with a balcony and a decent glimpse of the lake. The bathroom was clean and well equipped. The hotel is within short walking distance of the lake and the centre. We ate well at the adjoining pizzeria.

It was a little noisy due to traffic but if you closed the windows it was silent. This was not a major factor

a well kept and cosy traditional hotel in an excellent location

The facilities are well kept, the room was cosy and neat. Antique furniture in the halls and corridors was a nice addition. The swimming pool was better than expected, spatious and deep enough, with a good water purification system. The location is excellent, close to the ferry station and funiculaire, restaurants and supermarkets. The balcony view was incredible overlooking the hills and the whole city.

The breakfast was ok, and the restaurant location is really nice, with a possibility to sit in the garden. However, the food selection variety was very basic. The hotel (and Lugano in general) is very car oriented: the pedestrian entrance and exit is not intuitive and the highway just outside is a bit annoying and quite dangerous to cross.

Super A/C (although it could not be set below 19C). Super restaurant breakfast staff! Nice sized room, and pleasant terrace with lake view. Pool open! Complimentary MiniBar!

Uncomfortable -- far too firm for our liking -- beds and (foam) pillows. No kids TV channels. Insufficient number of electrical plugs (and no built in USB) in the room. Hotel seems inefficiently run. We have stayed there many times, but were asked (again) if this was our first stay. Hello??

Room size very good, marble bathroom lovely, bedding perfect, breakfast magnificent. Given complimentary water and tonic. Staff very friendly helpful. View excellent.

What was missing? NOTHING! And I am not related to anybody at the hotel. A superb experience!

Room was very comfortable, bed supportive. Marble updated bathroom was easy to use. Nice magnifying mirror. Linens replaced daily. Refrigerator good sized, and we were accorded free water and soft drinks. Balcony had wide view, and comfortable seating pads. TV placement and size fine. Pool good for actual swimming, but no shallow end, which didn’t bother me. Breakfast selection was amazing, and had choices for vegans and hearty eaters of all kinds. Might help to have designated smoking tables. Fast service at bar. Front desk staff extremely helpful and genuinely friendly. No question I and my family of 12, ages 18-87, would stay here again.

Facecloths seem to be unavailable in this and other hotels, ex Zurich.

All the staff will really really lovely. The breakfast was very beautiful set out and a lot of choices.

The location is quite far from the action but if you want someone be quieter this would be the place to be. The place is very old and need some renovations. Our bathroom door wouldn’t shut. Our sofa bed was broken not that we needed to use it. we like the food at the restaurant but the service at the actual restaurant of the hotel was not great at all. It took us a long time to be served. They kept ignoring us didn’t even ask us if we want to drinks. Thought that was awful.

We have the best room nice balcony view with alps mountains and lake. We enjoy so much the free mini bar & unlimited delicious breakfast.All staff we encounter are very professional and nice.They provided daily housekeeping and its very clean .The bus stop is in front or back at the hotel going to Lugano Train Station. 5 mins walk to the lake. Wifi is okay, everyday they replenish the mini bar and toiletries . Room temperature has aircondistioning .

The bathtub hasn’t handle to get out its kind of dangerous for slippery but doesn’t bother us much but hopefully they will provide 1 day.

A most enjoyable and memorable stay in Lugano.

On arrival, we were upgraded by the friendly receptionist to a suite which was very comfortable with a balcony as well. Relaxing to have extra space as this was around the twentieth accommodation we had stayed in over thirty-five days. The bed most importantly was supremely comfortable. The room was very clean and well maintained. Sufficient power points for all our devices. Warm shower. Complimentary water and soft drinks. One of our main objectives in Lugano was to enjoy the boat trips on the lake. The stop for this was a few minutes’ walk from the hotel with a tasty ice-cream outlet as well if we arrived early. Breakfast was more than sufficient. We ate three evening meals in the dining room. These were well prepared and staff were most attentive.
