Relaxing, comfortable

Beautiful location that we reached by steam train. We were greeted with a glass of champagne. Very comfortable rooms, lovely spa, amazing breakfast’

carpet on the balcony. Not a good idea in a place that has a lot of rain. No sitting room where we could sit and read/play games/hang out as a group

This place is romance right out of a Fitzgerald novel

This is the ultimate romantic hotel. Everything was perfect from the breakfast to the seaside view, an amazing romantic room that screams "stay in and enjoy the sound of the ocean while you cuddle".... that is until you go to the pool, sauna or for a walk on the beach just downstairs. Pay the extra, get the seaside view and the included breakfast, thank me later.

Staff was a little cold. When we arrived we asked for a pillow change because my partner is allergic to real feathers. They bluntly said "you could have to us earlier" but the cleaning staff was wonderful, lovely and helpful.

The entire trip was absolutely fantastic. The breakfast is amazing, high quality food, the staff extremely friendly.

Happy guests in a hotel at a perfect location!

Great value for the money! The room was ultra-quiet, nice furniture in a good condition. A rich breakfast in a perfect environment, with a very nice view to the beach right in front of the terrace. Lots of friendly faces in the hotel made us feel other guests were as happy about this location as we were. Very helpful and friendly staff made this a perfect stay!

The bed was a little too soft for me, personally. The smoke detector apparently was out for service, leaving an empty bracket on the ceiling. Our room was facing to the East, so the hot summer sun was warming up the room pretty quickly. But this made us go to the breakfast room sooner, which was not a bad decision at all.

Wonderful sea views with opportunities for improvement

Beautiful sea view if one has one of the apartments with a balcony out to the sea side, location could truly not be better as it is directly on the sea. Also a lovely old building. Good breakfast buffet.

The service in the room could have been better....no opportunity to make tea, coffee capsules not always replaced, only one bathrobe which then vanished during our stay so we had none left. Also, what the restaurant advertises as bouillabaise is really a standard and rather boring (clear) German fish soup and should be relabelled accordingly.

This hotel has a fantastic view. It is directly on the beach. The breakfast was fantastic and catered for those that do not eat meat or dairy. I will definitely be staying again.

Superb

Excellent location, right by the water. Breakfast was generous, delicious and well organized with ample space between tables, fast & friendly service. The partial view on the sea and promenade was beautiful! We got into our room earlier than expected. All around a great stay.

Not really a minus but Parking is not included in the price - 15 euros per day. But it’s right next to the building so that’s convenient.

Schönes Hotel in toller Lage

Sehr schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage direkt am Strand und mit sehr nettem Personal. Das Zimmer war groß und das Bad mit eigenem Fenster, was ich persönlich klasse finde. Wir waren sehr früh da und konnten trotzdem sofort das Zimmer beziehen. Das Frühstück war wirklich gut und aus dem kleinen Wellnessbereich wurde das Beste gemacht, was die Räumlichkeiten hergeben. Das Hotel kann man uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Die Häuser sind schon sehr alt, was natürlich zur Hellhörig führt. Toilettenspühlung, Türenknallen, Poltern... war schon etwas mehr als üblich, aber generell ist das Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Insgesamt hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse hätten wir uns jedoch in einigen Punkten etwas mehr erwartet. Die angebotene Minibar war bei Ankunft leider nicht aufgefüllt, und der Ruheraum im Wellnessbereich ist recht klein und nur mit wenigen Liegen ausgestattet. Hier gäbe es aus unserer Sicht noch etwas Verbesserungspotenzial.

Nettes Hotel mit Charme

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend - zentral gelegen und dennoch angenehm ruhig. Besonders positiv ist auch das Ambiente: stilvoll und einladend, sodass man sich vom ersten Moment an wohlfühlt.

Das Personal wirkte stellenweise nicht so professionell, wie man es von einem Hotel dieser Kategorie erwarten würde. Zudem hatte die Sauberkeit im Zimmer besser sein können, da sich Staub bemerkbar gemacht hat. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war nicht ganz überzeugend und lässt aus unserer Sicht noch Raum für Verbesserungen.

Wir kommen bestimmt wieder

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Suite mit großer Terrasse mit Blick auf den Strand. Die Suite war sehr wertig eingerichtet. Der Spa-Bereich war mit 2 Saunen, einer Infrarot Sauna und Pool ausreichend. Der Spa-Bereich war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr ruhig. Das Restaurant samt Küche war herausragend.

Es gab nicht die Möglichkeit Halbpension. Das Restaurant ist schön, der Service gut, das Essen mittelmäßig, überteuert.
