Fabulous hotel in a fabulous location

The suite we booked (Gonzala)was fabulous! It was a real surprise how spacious and luxurious it was. The photos dont do it justice. The location of the hotel was perfect for wandering into Lazise, only a 5 minute walk. The staff were helpful and friendly and even surprised me with a cake and good wishes on my birthday! There was plenty of choice at breakfast, and the bar menu was good for us. The spa and pool were lovely and not too busy even at the height of summer. We really enjoyed our stay.

Not much! We had issues with the jacuzzi on our balcony, which the maintenance staff tried their best to resolve. It sort of worked in the end, but it was a bit disappointing, as it was one of the reasons we booked this particular suite. We were offered a voucher for a subsequent stay as compensation.

Really lovely hotel in a great location

Great selection at Breakfast, room was lovely (2 bed family suite), great location, close to town, free bike hire, Spa facilities, little play room whihc was handy to escape the heat for half an hour.

There seemed to be the start of a algi problem in the pool, I noticed it 2 days in to our stay and my sons swim vest and rash vest both turn yellowy/green, I had to throw them out. Some more unisex or boys toys would be good in the play room

Fantastic and attentive staff with a superb style and location

Location to the old town and staff.

Access issues around pool as I’m a wheelchair user. People breaking the pool rules; constant beds being covered in towels when no one there, children jumping in from top of rock, running around screaming.

Relaxing and luxurious within a short drive of Verona

The spa and swimming pool were luxurious and a real treat after a full day of sightseeing, also our junior suite was very spacious, decoration felt fresh and the bed was enormous. Good black out curtains and a comfy bed made for nice lie-ins.

We had some traffic noise from the main road even with the windows closed and the waiting staff could have been friendlier, albeit they were perfectly responsive when asked for something.

Wonderful hotel on a great location, although price too high for the quality of service and faciltities

- Lazise is wonderful and this hotel is right near the center of Lazise, location was amazing. - Hotel and rooms have a beautiful and modern design, I loved it and want to copy it in my house. - Super clean - Spacious - Amazing breakfast (a lot of choice and good quality) - Free parking

- Spa opens in the afternoon and closes at 20pm (November) of which we were disappointed because we booked this spa hotel to be able to spend the evening in the spa after a day full of fun at the garda lake. I don’t understand how you call yourself a spa hotel with such a small window of use of spa facilities. - I booked a room with bubble bath and turkish sauna. Both were not working so I went to the reception. After the maintenance it was only partly fixed so the day after I reported the problem again. They did another maintenance after which the bubble bath worked (although still leaking) but when the bubble function later was activated a lot of dirt came into our bathtub full of water. We were dissapointed about the spa facilities in our room. For these room problems we were financially compensated at the end of our stay which I appreciate a lot. However the Spa experience was horrible due to this broken facilities in the room. - The use of a babycrib costs 20 euros per night so I paid an extra 40 euros for the two nights. For just the placing of a simple travel crib I find this price outragious. I knew the price up front but didn’t see that it was the price per night (my mistake). Nevertheless I find it very unfriendly to charge such an amount for such a simple service.

Perfect for couples - enjoy Lazise with class and luxury

As this is a four star hotel I will give four stars as well. The location is perfect - 10 minutes from the lake. 5 Minutes from Lazise - a romantic and quiet little town. It’s a dreamy, modern and stylish hotel that looks very expensive. The service as well as the food & drinks are exceptional! Breakfast is aaaamazing. Staff super nice, some speak english some even speak german. Lovely people! Spa area is nice- romantic, clean, calming. Outdoor pool area is a great place to relax - with the pool bar right there so you can enjoy a few cocktails and snacks while you sunbathe. It’s great. Overall really nice stay, I do recommend this place. Would come here again. Amazing for couples.

I don’t think it lives up to the price 100% - could and definitely should be a bit cheaper. I‘d say it’s definitely not as expensive as it looks - the pictures online are very intriguing.

Paid a high price for room with pool, not allowed to get key until a. hour after we were supposed to get it. steam room had no instructions so we had to guess how to use it and air con in bedrooms did not work

Great little hotel with close proximity to the main centre.

Good location on the edge of Lasize. Free bike rental was a really nice touch and we made lots of use of the bikes. it was very clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was tasty and the waiting staff were happy to help. Nicely decorated throughout and the pool area was nice with a couple of spa/jacuzzis.

The view and proximity of the Deluxe suite to the biker/rock bar next door & the road. The photos are cleverly angled so you can not see the bar but focuses on the castle behind. The balcony is also very small, so that combined with the bar/road meant the balcony was not somewhere to enjoy a quite drink after a day of bike riding.

Misleading and not not get what you booked for

I booked this hotel specifically because it was clearly and in writing that the junior sweet had a lake view a garden view and a pool view while what i found was just a garden view on the first floor , when I asked why at the reception i was told that if i wanted a view of the lake I could up grade into a family room for another 100 euro on top of what I already payed per night and they just said they are sorry, after they tried to find an excuse that the Junior sweet might also mean you can get a lake view or a garden view or a pool view they just put an , OR , in front of what i had in writing while it did never show on mine, very misleading

central location, great facilities and friendly staff

our room (9) was very nosy with both road traffic, noise from the Harley Davidson bar next door. Plus, the walls as are thin we could near next door going to the toilet

We wanted Italy not Las Vegas! I felt disappointed for my family.

Breakfast and outdoor pool were good. Staff were friendly.

We stayed four years ago and it was great. But now it’s become too pretentious. We payed a lot of money thinking we would have a cosy suite looking over the pool but we had an awful overpriced suite overlooking the road with a rock band blasting outside. Generally the bedrooms and suites are too big and over-designed in bad taste. The decor and furniture are awful and must have cost you a fortune hence the huge increase in prices. We were so excited about coming back there but the hotel has lost its Italian charm.

High quality hotel and room, great town to visit, but some work needed to make it exclusive.

The hotel was great. The pool area is fantastic for a smaller hotel. Food, drink is all great. The staff are fabulous too. Our room has a nice balcony and a small and shallow pool which was private, a small kitchen and separate bedrooms for us and the kids.

The room we had is very new, and while it’s ok, it needs a bit of thinking about before it can be classed as good. For example, the main bed is in the same room as the sofa and kitchen area - great if you have little kids but absolutely no privacy for adults if you’re travelling with older children. The balcony was nice, but the pool is very shallow and not really worth having. My wife and I both agree it would be nice to have robes, some cover on the balcony (we had to request a parasol otherwise there was no shade in direct sunshine) and for the minibar to be included (especially as the room cost so much).
