Post-Plaza Hotel & Grand Café

Smaakvol ingericht hotel, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.

It was very well located within walking distance of shops and restaurants and bars.

The hotel was beautiful because the kept a lot of the original post office furniture and some souvenirs. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly

The advertisement says parking. They do not have parking. You have to walk approx 500m to get a paid parking. At the front door is 3 or 4 steps. Makes it a bit difficult with heavy suitcases .

Our own experience was really good. Great location and breakfast and plenty of lovely staff.

While waiting to check out at reception on Monday at 11am, a solo-traveling young woman in front of me told the receptionist that a stranger had entered her hotel room with a keycard at 3am. The receptionist seemed to know about this and said that the night/evening desk clerk had made a mistake at 3am and given the key to a late (customer) arrival to an occupied room. However, the young women was clearly shaken by this event and no effort was made to rectify this situation. The woman repeated how she had encountered a stranger in her hotel room at 3am. She had woken up to this customer standing in her room. “This was a mistake and not our intent,” was the reply from the receptionist. I understand that mistakes can be made but this lack of accountability was disappointing.
