I cannot say enough about this wonderful property. We had 19 family members staying here and everyone was blown away by the location, views, accommodations, wonderful landlord, etc. etc. Any small concerns were looked after immediately. The patio, sports area and swimming pool were well used. Ate outside every night and soaked in the ambiance. I would definitely be comfortable recommending this to everyone.

Each of us loved the property - exciting to be staying in a real c.astle
The rooms were lovely - only drawbacks were the main kitchen being small and unsafe at cooker, the rooms in Les Gardes affected by noise of chairs scraping on terrace above. Shower room in Les Loges very small - also kitchen. Otherwise lovely and Joel very kind

Wonderful Property
Wonderful Property
My family and friends stayed here for 2 weeks and we cannot say enough about the setting, beauty and history of the place. It was extremely well equipped and the owners, who live in a part of the old Chateau, are discreetly there to help and answer any questions. Prior to arrival we also received a lot of help from Joel (owner) regarding caterers (which we used for 5 dinners), babysitters and other facts about the village. Chateauneuf de Gadagne has shops where one can buy most things and there is a supermarket about 4 kilometres away in Thor. A superb Michelin listed restaurant is just 5 minutes walk away and there are other good restaurants in the village and area. The facility has a superb pool and children spent hours playing there. Avignon is 20 minutes away by car and there are lots of other place to see within an easy drive. We had bikes and Chateauneuf de Gadagne is connected to a series of bike routes on quiet roads that take one to Thor, Isle sur la Sorgue and Fontaines de Vaucluse - great biking. Lots of wineries within a few kilometres where can taste and buy wine. A wonderful property where we spent a wonderful vacation.

Amazing 7th century (or older) retreat on a secret and undiscovered pinnacle of Provence
Amazing 7th century (or older) retreat on a secret and undiscovered pinnacle of Provence
Although somewhat rustic, this property has everything you need for a large family / group holiday. Steeped in history from Charlemagen through to the WWII (including particular but not obvious interest to Dutch guests), this house is still occupied by the 5th generation of a local french family who are more than willing to share its history (if you want of course).
The house is incredibly well equipped and if you are missing anything the owners are always available to help if needed; they remain discreet yet present.

This was the most wonderful place you would ever want to stay!!! The owners are absolutely fabulous and friendly. The home is just WOW!!! This is a place you would want to spend months at a time enjoying. We had 10 people stay in May for 4 nights, and it made us cry to leave. Both because of the beauty of the facility and the surrounding views, but mostly because of the way we were treated by the owners.
Three words to describe our stay!! WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!! Thank you so much
