It was close to beach and restaurant

The rooms were nasty dirty. Staff was rude and seem to not care about the customers are first.

This is my first time ever leaving a review on Booking.com — and I really wish it were a positive one. I stayed here for 3 nights in total—Room 144 and the “Private Room” (Room 110). Room 144 was located right in front of the ice machine, which was so loud and constant that it gave me a headache. And the light was broken and didn’t turn on properly. I couldn’t rest or sleep properly at all. To make things worse, in the middle of the night, a woman suddenly came knocking aggressively on my door asking for cigarettes. I was terrified. The next day, I asked to change rooms and was moved to Room 110. While I was relieved that at least no one would bang on my door this time since it was right next to the lobby, this room came with a new nightmare. There was an overwhelming stench—a mix of urine, spoiled milk, and sewage. The moment I stepped inside, the smell was so bad it gave me a headache. Dust had collected in the corners, and I started sneezing nonstop. It was the final stretch of my 3-month trip across the U.S., and I was completely exhausted, but I couldn’t sleep at all because of the unbearable smell. The next day, I suffered from a horrible migraine and my entire day was ruined. On the final night, I couldn’t take it anymore and asked to switch rooms again. The room on the second floor was slightly better, though there was still a weird lingering smell, kind of like feces coming from somewhere I couldn’t pinpoint. The bedding was torn in several places and smelled disgusting. The smell from the room clung to me so badly that I reeked of that disgusting odor all day. The building is obviously very old and extremely poorly maintained. I was deeply disappointed and honestly felt like I had wasted my money. Out of the 30 or so accommodations I stayed in during my 3-month U.S. trip, this was by far the worst. I ended my journey in tears with a splitting headache. If you’re sensitive to smells, sounds, or general cleanliness, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Probably the lowest cost hotel closest to orange county beaches. Ok place to crash for a night if you drink enough at the sushi restaurant next door or you just want to be close to the beach. Little bit of a walk for beach access or short drive or bicycle ride. Nearby restaurants and shops.

Bed wasn't great by any stretch of the imagination and bathroom floor and shower was dirty. Cash deposit is required for any room damages and the room must be inspected prior to check out for the deposit to be returned. A list of damage cost per item is provided.

Turning the hot water on was a task. It should have been much easier, the TVs did not work in two of the rooms and one of the rooms we did not use smelt very bad and the TV did not work in there, so we did not use that room but I believe I'm going to have to pay for it, unless you can do something about that? Someone came to fix the TV and said they were coming back, but never did.

It had a big shower

The cleanliness of the room. Rooms very old and outdated. Cigarette burns everywhere. Smoke detector fell off the wall supported by 1 screw. Bed was uncomfortable. No fan in the bathroom. Floors were very dirty. Closet to hang clothes looked rusty and old.

The decor and appearance of the room were well… I have no words… extremely dated? Mismatched… cheap. For being right next to the water you would think it would be nicer, especially for the price. It looks like a place you would find a dead hooker on a crime scene investigation TV show.

This was our second time staying at 777 motor Inn. We stayed on the third floor, which had a view of the ocean right out the front door and a view of the harbor right out the back window. The staff was friendly and overall the stay was nice.

You can't control what other guests stay there as well. That was our only issue, other guests were loud.

There’s was nothing to like about this place. It was a complete disaster.

There was strung out druggies in almost every room who between 10PM-6AM would scream and slam doors run up and down the halls. The people in the office did absolutely nothing about it when we called. It wasn’t a safe environment it was a terrifying experience. We got no sleep both nights we were there.

Excellent location. This is an old hotel but kept up well and was very clean. Staff very nice.

It's across the street from beach access. Short walking distance. The staff was very nice. The room was clean for what it was, it was small. This is a $60 room. There was parking.

I Was OVERCHARGED!! I was charged $190. This was not the advertised priced. I'm never using Booking.com again!!

The owner is very friendly, he accomadated me and is very kind. Thank you so much for allowing me to stay at the 777 Motor Inn. The ocean was visible from the room I stayed in. The room itself is comfortable and the beds are cozy as well. The room is fun and full of colors. The heating and cooling is very convenient and works well. The room I stayed in is such a great deal for its size and price. The building is beautiful and colorful as well. I had a very nice stay. The staff that work there are also kind and welcoming. The Motor Inn. is very clean and comfortable. There is a convenient elevator that takes you to the floor you're staying on. The lobby is very nice. The room I stayed in had such beautiful views. There are lots of lighting options which I greatly appreciate. My stay felt luxurious and comfortable. The bathroom is also a good size. The water temperatures were easy to control and the shower head made for a good clean. Especially after the beach, this hotel is right along the ocean and walking distance as well. The windows are easy to maneuver as well. To the owner of the 777 Motor Inn., thank you once again for such an amazing stay at this hotel, sir.
