Trullo Villa With Large Private Pool, Beautiful Gardens, In A Charming Setting

This is a high end villa with fantastic outdoor space, lovely pool, and great gardens. Internally, it is somewhat sparsely furnished but it was fine for our needs. Future guests should be aware that access to the internal property is through the main bedroom; keys are not provided to the two other entrance doors.It would have been nice to have been provided with a basic welcome basket (tea/coffee/milk/water etc). It seemed odd to have been provided with nothing other than three washing machine tabs. It would also have been nice if the lovely Gavin hadn't arrived at 8.30 in the morning on two or three days. One morning, he was drilling etc to put up some garden furniture outside the main bedroom, which disrupted our sleep.The WiFi is poor and does not reach the main bedroom or the outdoor pool space.

This place is incredible. The gardens, pool area, barbecue area, tranquility of being remote, but a short drive to nearby towns, were all perfect. Our party was four adults (wife and I, and my parents) and three children (1, 5 and 7). The accommodation internally is pretty much as the pictures show. The outside space (where 95% of the waking time is spent) is so beautiful, the photos on the listing don't do it justice. The kids had a great time in the pool, and there was plenty of kid-friendly pool toys already there. The kitchen was pretty well kitted out, as was the bbq area. We made the most of the fig trees and veg patch too where there were a few things ripening.The host, Gavin, was a lovely chap and gave us a few recommendations. For anyone wondering, there isn't aircon but multiple fans available, which were more than adequate (and preferable to aircon to be honest). With the walls being so thick the internal temperature remained fairly comfortable, if you remember to open up first thing in the morning and close up during the midday heat. The owner, Gary, put is in touch with a local car hire firm too. We were a bit anxious as it didn't feel very formal but it was spot on, and there was no worry about any minor damage to the cars given they already had a few scratches on them, and the owner was very relaxed (unlike major car hire firms in Italy...). All in all, a top notch holiday in a beautiful location with an excellent host.

The place is lovely with amazing gardens and a great pool. Really good location for exploring public on day trips. The hosts worked hard to provide great hospitality

Excellent villa, garden and pool. However lack of air conditioning resulted in bedroom being uncomfortably warm at night.
