Privacy, easy access to hosts Ingo and Maria, a roomy cabin to cook dinner & breakfasts. Kayaking was great, I swam every day. Yoga in the screened pavilion a gift. We were able to day trip everywhere we wanted to go on Cape Breton Island.
Well, it's a big mosquito season and we hit it in prime time.

Coziness of the cabin. Hot water.
The water was from the tap was undrinkable (was not told this in advance). Ticks in the woods. There is no lodge, it is his mother’s house. No data and no cell coverage at cabins. No microwave.
