The room was clean, comfortable, and functional. We were traveling with our English Setter, and we were all comfortable during our stay. We primarily use the room for sleeping and showering, as we spend most of our time out enjoying our trip, so it met our needs perfectly.
The sofa was a little worn, but it wasn’t important to us.

The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty, as well. This is our fourth stay since 2021, and our second stay in the Manor Room. If you visit Lynchburg and like trains, then go eat at Depot Grille. The water in the shower was the perfect temperature and pressure, as well. We look forward to visiting again.
I know it is an older house, but handrails or something similar would of been nice on the stairs going into the bathroom for added safety. I know it is an older house, but bars or something similar would of been nice in the shower for added safety, as well.

The house is graciously prepared, and the management was very helpful about our late arrival. Breakfast was lovely.
It's obviously a,very old house, with period furnishings. It was less comfortable than I expected, while still beautifully done. Guests should ascertain whether they can easily manage steep stairs and sleep on a very firm mattress.
