Very well maintained, helpful staff. Cottages were extremely clean, very comfortable beds and pillows and had everything you needed. The cottages were cute and loved the porch overlooking the water. Lisa and the staff were so nice and helpful during the nor’easter.

- The location of Key West Cottages is unbeatable
- The cottages are beautiful
- The property is nice to walk around
- Host offered a free late checkout past the set 10am (a nice gesture, though 10am is quite early by most hotel standards).
Too expensive: $300 for 2 nights in the dead of winter feels unjustified.
Too demanding: despite premium pricing, guests are expected to wash their own dishes and take out the trash. That’s hostel-level effort at hotel-level rates.
Too uncomfortable: beds are extremely hard, and the pillows are flimsy. Basic sleep comfort is not there.
Too misleading: advertised as “waterfront with water views,” but the cottage sits on a small canal facing a hotel parking lot. Not quite false advertising... but close.
