1 Cabin Among the Firs

No breakfast provided, but good location.

Maintenance items: 1) Replace front porch light bulbs or fixture. First night only, it was very hard to see at night. Light was contantly flickering (about 40 mins). Then left bulb went out, but came back on about an hour later. Then a few hours later, both bulbs were on with no flickering. 2) Replace toilet seats (all bathrooms). Toilet seats appear to be over 10 years old, and are in dire need of replacement. 3) Replace all toilets. Although functional, toilets are over 25 years old and badly stained. Replacing the toilets and seats would do wonders for the customer experiance you are looking for. 4) Have cleaners double check dining table and floor for cleanliness. Table was sticky, and chocolate (from an ice cream bar?) was on the floor under a chair. 5) Internet tv streaming was spotty. Possible solution: Upgrade the DVD movie selection with a few recent action movies. Place labels on them saying, "Do not remove. Leave for the next guest to enjoy." 6) Guest may get locked out. Place label on inside of front door indicating, when door knob is in locked position, door will lock behind you. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: Upon check-in and check-out, the office personnel were very friendly and helpful.
