Appartement Anker

The apartment was spacious, and well situated. The beds were very comfortable, and the basic necessities were present. It was easy to gain information about the payment and check-in procedure and the communication with the host was clear and helpful.

I found the apartment a bit overpriced in view of the overall state. The kitchen was relatively basic (e.g. there were no bowls, and I found it a bit challenging to bake for instance an egg using the pans that were available). The shower had relatively low water pressure, and it was a bit of a hit and miss endeavor to get the right balance between hot and cold water to get a comfortable shower. The toilet was functional, but often kept running after flushing (though this could be solved by infrequently slightly tapping on the flush button). A low-cost welcome package (as we find relatively common at various accommodations) would have been a nice touch. All together these were just minor nuisances, but for the price I expected a bit more.

Bij de omschrijving van boeking zou het appartement een eigen wasmachine en droger hebben. Dat was een misverstand, maar is prima opgelost door de verhuurder Mark Gorter. De eigenaar Mark Gorter is zeer klant vriendelijk en reageert zeer snel. Hij heeft onze problemen zeer goed en snel opgelost.

Appartement was prima te gebruiken voor een week

Inchecken ging heel vlot met de sleutels in het sleutelkluisje. Het appartement is niet zo groot maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, het ligt ook ideaal om vanuit Hollum heel Ameland te verkennen. Het binnenzwembad van het hotel is een groot voordeel als je slecht weer hebt.

Er zat wat weinig druk op de douchestraal maar ik heb dit doorgegeven aan de eigenaar dus mogelijks is dit ondertussen opgelost!
