Listaros & Ksa Sou offer the ideal location for all year round holidays, for everyone who wishes to experience warm hospitality, healthy nutrition, culture & history, virgin nature and beaches, astonishing views and all smells and of South Crete's countryside.
Enjoy and relax during your holidays by the countryside in South Crete and in a cottage house dating back to 1900. The two floor property is caracterized traditional & preserved by the ministry of environement and built from wood & stone. It is a fine example of Cretan rural architecture, was entirely renovated and transformed into a holiday house offering its guests all conveniences that guarantying a relaxing and comfortable lodging. The guest house is located in the heart of the picturesque village of Listaros and for its renovation the basic construction materials of the area are used - wood and stone. The original plain cubic form was maintained in order to preserve the “character” of a typical cottage of the broader region and Listaros. At the same time, a lot of attention was paid to its equipment. The house is fully equipped with all necessary amenities and utensils and its first floor balcony offers a nice view to the village. Due to its characterization and to luck of lighting it has an open plan 'loft style' construction and therefore its two floors offer no sound isolation.
Listaros lies at the edge of the western point of mount Asterousia. The village with the magnificent view offers the last passage from Mesara Plain to the Asterousia mountain and the south coast and Libyan sea. Records reveal that the village exists since 1577.

Eine schlichte aber bequeme Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage. Dank Klima auch in August gut aus zu halten. Die überdachte Terasse lädt zum längeren rumliegen ein. Etwa 200 m entfernt betreibt die Vermieterin eine "Kantina" wobei sie exzellente Kreta-Küche zaubert die man bei einem wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang herrlich genießen kann. Das Dörfchen Sylva liegt etwa 2 km entfernt und hat einige gute Restaurants und Mini-markets. Die Wohnung ist eine gute Ausgangslage um der Süden Kretas zu erkunden. Die Anreise ist einfach (~1 Stunden vom Flughafen Heraklion) und der Empfang herzlich. Wir hatten hier 2 sehr schöne Wochen und können dies uneingeschränkt empfehlen wenn mann die Kombination von Ruhe, Kultur, Landschaft und Kreta-Küche sucht und den Massen-Tourismus entgehen möchte.

Accueil très professionnel de Sylla qui a rénové deux petites maisons de village dans le hameau paisible de Listaros. La maisonnette est très propre (une femme de ménage vient, de plus, changer les draps et les serviettes une fois durant un séjour de 7 jours). Une grande terrasse permet de profiter d'un extérieur plaisant avec vue sur la mer de Libye. La plus grande des maisons possède également une petite cour intérieure arborée d'un magnifique bougainvillier. Un petite chaîne Hifi avec quelques CD de musique grecque est une petite attention supplémentaire.
A recommander pour ceux qui aiment être à la campagne dans un village qui est en train de renaître...des maisons abandonnées sont petit à petit retapées. Pas de commerces dans le village mais Sivas à 2 km possède une boucherie excellente, deux épiceries et de nombreux restaurants. De magnifiques plages à proximité, des sites archéologiques et des chemins de montagnes à parcourir offrent de nombreuses possibilités dans la région très proche.
