Ski in/ski out apartment in Saint Gervais (sleeps 6) with swimming pool

We stayed at the apartment for 11 days during 2018NY holidays. In general our stay was Ok, but on our departure an unfortunate episode happen, which determines my low mark. Here I give some honest details (for which I don't reduce the mark) about apartment the apartment, which may be useful for new guests , and after that will explain the episode: - the apartments are situated exactly near the piste. For us it was very convenient to come back for lunch; we were with children, so we were coming back went back during the day, were taking them with us to the slopes for 1-2 hours, and then were returning. Living on a slope is rather time saving; - the apartments are not big. Whereas they are advertised for 7 people, the area is ~40 m2, and I can recommend it for 7 people for extreme cases (we are one family, so it was Ok for us); - on our arrival the the apartments were rather cold, because nobody leaved before. We turned on all the heaters, but due to a big window and cold walls were not very comfortable. It took a day to warm up the building. On the next day we asked the concierge for and additional heater, but finally the apartment got heated; The unfortunate episode was connected with final cleaning. There is no _any cleaning_ requirements mentioned in the advertisement. So we did the cleaning accordingly to our own understanding and to the level, at which we received the apartments on arrivals (nobody lived there, so there were some dust; the apartments are not new). We cleaned the dishes, put the trash into the containers outside, cleaned the table etc. We removed our linens and put the blankets to shelves. When the concierge arrived, she started to claim about everything, about the dishes, dirty table and everything else (including what we actually did). She was speaking only French, mais nous parlons les Francais petit peu, and she did not tried to explain us what was wrong (we could have improved level of cleanness in additional 10 min). In fact she was playing a performance for us... as finally she claimed we broke the additional heater (the one which we never used). Finally the concierge and the host withheld us additional 100euro from the damage deposit, as "the apartment was left in a different state and additional cleaning was required". I wrote to the host and explained the situation, but she rejected. I believe the host must have informed us about required cleanness, not simply rely on concierge (she is biased).

We stayed in the apartment for a week in August for our family summer holiday. The apartment was clean and well equipped and worked very well for a family of five. The living room opens onto a balcony that looks out towards Mont Blanc and gets sun up until the early afternoon. The apartment is in a complex that is very well maintained with an outdoor pool, where the kids spent a lot of time. There is a secure garage that is located conveniently close to the apartment. The location is lovely with a five minute walk to the bottom of the cable car with access up the mountain for walking and mountain biking (and obviously skiing in the winter). The Town of Saint Gervais is lovely with plenty of restaurants and shops. We used the ice skating rink and Municipal pool (both of which were free if you buy the one-week lift pass). There are some amazing walks in the valley. WE would thoroughly recommend it for a summer holiday.

We had a superb week ski-ing. St Gervais is a really friendly resort, but book restaurant tables if you are there in February Half Term - it is very busy. The concierge was a bit difficult to find when we arrived late from the UK, stop at the first building and look for apartment one. Joelle is very friendly and communicative throughout, replying instantly to questions. The apartment is lovely, with warm and cosy beds and a well equipped kitchen and a lovely view of the piste down from Bettex. Don't put your snow chains on in the garage! Luckily another family told us this - everyone was very friendly and helpful. Having secure garage parking right by the apartment was wonderful. Highly recommend :)

Studio très bien situé permettant de profiter autant de la ville que des pistes de ski. Résidence moderne, le parking est un vrai plus !

Leuk appartement, aan de piste, garage op 50 meter binnen door het complex was handig. Een slaapkamer met dubbel bed, tweede met bunkbed en geen raam. Schoonmaak was opvallend slecht !, o.a. glazen vastgeplakt op plank, pannen met etensresten en badmatten volharen en stof.

Accueil sympa et discrétion du concierge. La piscine est un plus pour se rafraichir au calme dans la résidence. Proche des commerces et accès facile au télécabine. Bon séjour en famille

Nous avons passé un bon séjour avec nos files. Résidence agréable avec une belle piscine. Appartement bien conçu et bien équipé.

Nous avons passé un agréable moment entre montagne et avons pu profiter de la piscine de la résidence et de la bonne situation de l'appartement.

Bien agréable dans l'ensemble avec la piscine par contre dans l'annonce les animaux ne sont pas accepté dans la location mais pas pour l'immeuble d'où des aboiements. La vaisselle un peu juste pour 5 et des problèmes de tv. Super régions

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour sur Saint-Gervais. L'appartement est fonctionnel et confortable. Le garage est vraiment très pratique car tout près de l'appartement! Le seul bémol est la chambre enfants sans porte. Difficile de regarder un film le soir. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

L'appartement est bien situé, au calme mais assez proche du centre pour y aller à pied. Garage très pratique sur le même étage. La piscine est un vrai point positif et reste calme. Proche de nombreux départs de randonnées.

L’appartement possède une superbe vue sur les chaînes de montagne dont celle du mont blanc. Il est bien agencé et fonctionnel malgré une petite cuisine et une chambre avec 3 lits sans porte. Il est bien situé sur les hauteurs de saint Gervais qu’il est possible de gagner par un petit chemin beaucoup plus rapidement que par la route. La télécabine passe à proximité et offre un joli spectacle. La résidence possède une très jolie piscine bien entretenue qui est un réel plus pour toute la famille. Le seul bémol est de ne pas pouvoir prendre de repas en extérieur car la table sur la terrasse n’est que pour 2 personnes. Je recommande ce logement.

Appartement agréable et fonctionnel, conforme a la description. Parking couvert à proximité au même niveau, pratique pour décharger la voiture. Les rangements de la cuisine peuvent être améliorés. Pas de porte pour la chambre d'enfant mais un rideau. Faut être discret après avoir couché les enfants :)

Bij aankomst werden we heel keurig ontvangen door de conciërge! Het appartement is volledig conform aan de beschrijving, en is goed uitgerust. Een vaatwasmachine zou een aangename aanvulling zijn, terwijl de aanwezige wasmachine voor een vakantieverblijf eerder overbodig is. In de masterbedroom slaap je rustig op een heel goede, stevige matras. De bijbehorende garage is via de binnendoorgang vlakbij het appartement gelegen. Voor de eindschoonmaak is alle nodige materiaal aanwezig.

Le garage attenant a l appart est très appréciable. Le logement est fonctionnel et assez grand pour 4 personnes. Bien équipé il ne manque rien pour passer un bon séjour. Bonne adresse à partager.

Accueil rapide et très chaleureux par la concierge de la résidence. Appartement spacieux, propre, très fonctionnel et bien situé. Les deux chambres sont un vrai plus pour les 5 adultes que comptait notre groupe. À recommander chaleureusement 🙂

Bon séjour, ustensiles de cuisine un peu usés. Mais tout c'est déroulé comme attendu. Merci Bien

Arrivée facilitée par la présence de la concierge ( souplesse d’horaire Départ arrivée ) Garage fermé en sous sol à quelques mètres de l’appartement. Logement pratique, fonctionnel et bien équipé. (NB douche dans baignoire) Agrémenté l’été par l’accès à la piscine un étage au dessus à qq pas. A pied, compter un dénivelé de 100m environ pour descendre au bourg de saint Gervais. (Plusieurs chemins possibles) Bons contacts par mail avec le propriétaire. Avons passé une très belle semaine !

Magnifique ensemble immobilier. Appartement bien placé avec vue sur les sommets. Très calme. Espace piscine agréable.

résidence très calme et bien agencé correspondant à l'annonce . l'arrivée a 14heures est appréciable et la concierge agréable et disponible. je recommande cette location. deux points cependant il manque un balai pour nettoyer la terrasse et la connexion wifi n'est disponible que de l'appartement de la concierge. le séjour a néanmoins était apprécié.
