    It's like stepping the Black Forest with a funky 1970's vibe. The main lodge is beautiful with low ceilings and cozy public rooms, the breakfast area has a glass wall looking into the woods. Home cooked breakfast was wonderful, fresh fruit, juice, milk, coffee always available. We stayed in one of three cabins perched on a ridge above the lodge, it was a little bit of a climb up a steep path but the cabin was charming with a great view from the open porch. Cabin was immaculate, nicely decorated and well furnished including fridge and microwave. Duane the owner was very accommodating and always available. One reason we chose here is because they allow dogs the lodge dog looks like an oversize sled dog, she is serene and gentle and gets along with everyone. A unique experience, would stay again for sure.
