Charming home in Derby city

Everything was wonderful! We were close to Churchill Downs and within walking distance to dining and a liquor store. The area was quiet and the backyard was relaxing. The house had everything we needed. Our host was exceptional, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay and Kentucky Derby experience was the best. She gave us tips that made our vacation great from where to eat, go and park. When others were getting drenched during their long walk back to their cars we had a short jaunt to our vehicle. She suggested ordering groceries ahead of time; she picked them up and had them waiting for us when we arrived. I have stayed in many homes on vacations from Ireland to Hawaii (and other States) and I have to say Theresa, our host, was the best!

The house was clean and well maintained. Very charming and as described. Theresa thought of every need that a guest could have and provided a solution in advance. There were fresh flowers throughout the house as well as a welcome basket of snacks. The beds were comfy. We had more than enough towels. It was a great place to stay while going to the KY Expo Center for our business. Our group enjoyed the stay wholeheartedly. Look forward to staying here again next year!

Theresa was amazing. She had cookies and a case of water there waiting for us. The welcome packet was filled with information as was she. She even ran us to the store to get some essentials when we checked in.
