Fort Lauderdale is very kid-friendly area with many good restaurants. Everything is in walkable distances so you don't need to worry about transportation. Even the airport Is 15 mins away. My son is 4 yrs old, and we went to the children science museum! Two restaurants under the hotel - they are GREAT. on the beach, you have great staffs always checking on you. We loved it!

Beautiful place to stay! I had an issue with my first room that I was checked into and Meagan promptly took care of that. My transition was smoothe and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much to the wonderful pleasant staff at the Conrad Fort Lauderdale beach!!

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price
We stayed at The Conrad in Fort Lauderdale expecting a premium experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short. Despite requesting early check-in weeks in advance (knowing we’d arrive before 11 a.m.), we were kept waiting over five hours for our room — which still wasn’t ready by 4 p.m., the listed check-in time. The front desk promised to alert housekeeping to expedite our room, but nothing came of it.
The staff was uncourteous and unhelpful, offering no meaningful updates or accommodation during the delay. For a hotel at this price point, that level of service is simply unacceptable.
While the property is generally well maintained, it’s clear the hotel is aging — outdated communication systems, older bathroom fixtures, scuffed elevator interiors, and other signs of wear show through.
There were additional issues, but in short: I can’t recommend this hotel. It’s overpriced for the level of service and upkeep provided.
