The starry night sky was a nice bonus - a real perk of staying at a farm out in nature with minimal light pollution!

Staying here felt like going back in time to when I was a young girl and lived on a sheep farm and shared a bedroom with my younger sister. I was travelling with my best friend and when we cozied up in our twin beds and watched TV before going to sleep, we giggled guiltily at Gogglebox, trying to keep it down so as not to disturb other guests. (It's actually quite soundproofed for what it's worth) It's a cozy stay with a delightful host who provides a lovely breakfast to start your Scottish excursions. The farm location was very nostalgic as I split from the country to the city decades ago, so seeing lambs and coos and all the wildlife around was a gentle balm. It's not far to Oban, or Glencoe, or any of the other western coastal Scottish areas, and the location itself is quiet and serene, down several single track roads. The room was exceptionally clean, the shower was delightfully strong, and the towels fluffy and generous. I also appreciated meeting the grandkids! It makes it feel definitely more a homestay than a generic bed and breakfast or hotel. One last thing--blackout curtains were a wonderful provided necessity. I had forgotten how north Scotland is, so when it's still light out at 11pm in the summer they are super helpful for getting to sleep.

This BnB is tucked away and very peaceful on a farm, it suited me perfectly.
