Disappointed in cleanliness and location of cabin.

Bathroom floors were dirty. Toilet seats need replacing. Was not able to use jacuzzi do to terrible lady bug infestation. Washing machine lid was bent. Front door security lock had low battery and struggled each time we used it. Ice maker does not work. Did not care for the location of cabin.

Hauling trash a mile away to a secluded dumpster when other cabins had secure cans nearby. Wondering why we had to do additional cleaning when we were charged a cleaning fee.

The cabin was beautiful. Really felt like home. The neighbor across the road was very friendly.

Grandson birthday/ vacation trip

Close to everything without the noise, hot tub, arcade game and choice of TV for the grandson. Also plenty of space for comfort and privacy.

A few things appeared damaged upon arrival, outdoor cooler lid broken, knob missing on a dresser, and some scuffs on the floor. Was concerned that we may have been blamed after the fact.

We loved the hot tub and porch. The property was very easy to found you parked right in front of the cabin and walked in. You had to drive to the Pool at the Bottom That All the Cabins Shared. We really enjoyed it and had a great time.

The community pool could add. Maybe another one or a little bit bigger with Everyone staying in all those cabins. Having one small community pool you couldn't get in and swim.

Things happen.

Overall, once we accessed the cabin hours late and then left and allowed several hours for it to be cleaned, it was pretty comfortable. The owner we tracked down after several hours and finally locating a neighbor who knew her seemed lovely and very responsive though she isn't local. We have no idea who the hosts on this listing are and had no interaction with them. The price was good, and the location was convenient to where we were going.

After booking and paying in mid-April, we received no further communication--not another email to tell us how to access the property, which we were scheduled to check in at 3pm, an hour early. We began calling the number provided and emailing via the provided link at 1pm. We never received any response at all. We arrived at 4:30pm and could not access the cabin. We continued to call and email. We also emailed booking.com several times. We called booking.com, and after fifteen minutes on hold, someone answered and hung up without a word. We finally found a neighbor who knew the owner and who is not one of the people listed as a host. She told us how to find a key. We entered to find the cabin had not been cleaned. Used, dirty linens were on the bathroom floor. Beds were not made. There were no towels. There were dead bugs on the floor. We called the owner whose number we now had from the neighbor, and she was shocked. She called us back ten minutes later after confirming someone could come and clean and told us to go to dinner and come back. We finally got in at 8:30pm, and the cabin was clean at that time. There are no instructions in the cabin about how to access WiFi or to use the television. There is coffee but no coffee maker and a Keurig but no cups for it. There was no information about bears except for what the neighbor told us, and that deficit may account for the two bears he said they'd had in cars in the last three days. We didn't see one. Overall, once we managed to get in, hours late and after it had to be cleaned, the cabin was comfortable. Cell reception was off and on because we didn't have WiFi. It's very much on a mountain and very close to several, other similar cabins though many seemed to be residences and not rentals. The numbers and emails we were originally provided either don't work or were ignored, and booking.com itself has horrendous customer service.

Nice, quiet, not overly convenient nor “full service”.

MANAGEMENT: SEE ESP #6 1. Difficult/unable establishing an early arrival. 2. Bed linens were very heavy/warm; tough getting comfortable temperature-wise. 3. Required to empty trash at a not-convenient dumpster when departing (I would have have thought this was a cleaning crew matter). 4. Required to strip beds and manage linen upon departure… unlike a hotel. 5. Did NOT use jacuzzi, but the water felt “slippery” to the hand. 6. WARNING: Smaller bedroom… both outlets by headboard would cut out at the slightest touch and sometimes without being touched… wonder if there is not a loose wire/partial short. This deserves immediate investigation. Happens with both installed lamps and my charging gear in all 4 outlets.

Location was nice.

Couldn't enter the property for 2 hours after check-in. Email with instructions was sent to spam (not their fault) but I repeatedly called the number they gave with only a voice mail. Bookings.com didn't respond either. The HOA lady next door was able to get in touch for me and helped me out otherwise I would not have been able to get in. Once I got the correct email with instructions all went well. We missed 1 1/2 hours of a concert because of no response to us.
