Everything was superb...from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing few days on the coast in a charming little town. The hotel itself was quite unique and welcoming.

Tasteful nautical-decorated rooms with great views

Le Petit Hotel des Hortensias is a beautifully located house with a spectacular view on the harbour full of sailing boats. The Hotel is very tastefully decorated with nautical motives. The lady who runs the place was always around and ready to give advice and help. The in house restaurant serves delicious food. Even though we were a bit late getting up on Sunday morning and they were already receiving lunch guests, they accomodated us for our breakfast and it was delicious!

Our room was on the top floor with no elevator, this could be a challenge, but we got helped with our luggage, otherwise everything was great!

The hotel has the best location in town. It has a beautiful view over the harbour and has an upmarket feel. The decor is well thought out and our room was very comfortable. There is no air conditioning and it was very warm when we were there. However it is quiet enough to have the window open although we were woken up one morning just after 6.00am by what we assumed was a waste collection truck. We did not find this a problem and went back to sleep. There is a lovely restaurant and bar overlooking the harbour. We did venture out into town one night but it was not a patch on the quality of the hotel. The owners and their staff are charming and helpful. They keep a very tight hold on the current requirements for Covid 19 and we felt very safe.

Beautiful comfy warm welcoming! 10/10

Great location, absolutely beautiful, warm and welcoming interiors. Great host and lovely food. The best Egyptian cotton sheets but makes it very difficult to get out of bed! Also smells super nice. There is a great shop under the hotel but beware... it's so good you might need to work a little harder to pay for all that lovely stuff. I was tempted by the scale model of the Titanic but managed to resist (it was a bit small to sail back to Portsmouth). Totally lovely place!

Schmuckstück am Hafen

Sehr netter Empfang, wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Wunderbares Zimmer unter dem Dach (Houat), sehr liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet, sehr groß, schönes Bad und ein wunderbarer Blick über den Hafen. Nachts sehr ruhig. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht in diesem Hotel. Über Nacht konnten wir kostenlos auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz oberhalb des Hotels parken. Sehr schönes Restaurant mit Terrasse und Blick auf den Hafen. Tolles Essen, ebenso das Frühstück. Sehr nettes Geschäft (Deko, Kleidung) direkt an Hotel. Alles absolut empfehlenswert!

Très agréable séjour

Accueil vraiment chaleureux ! Aux petits soins ! Nous sommes arrivés en avance et nous avons pu disposer de notre chambre très propre, très spacieuse avec une très belle vue sur le port et calme ! Que des superlatifs pour ce petit hôtel très bien placé. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux et bon. Nous avons testé le restaurant et la cuisine était délicieuse. Le personnel charmant. En cette période, les places de parking sont gratuites et faciles d'accès. Bref, nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel.

De ne pas pouvoir rester plus longtemps !!

Tout: l’accueil, la décoration ,le site et son calme, la superficie de la chambre. Petit hôtel de charme où l’on est accueilli avec bienveillance, gentillesse et égards. A la fois une hôtel intimiste et presque une maison de famille. Merci à sa propriétaire et à son staff.
