港や繁華街から近くて、アクティビティの待ち合わせ場所に行ったり食事に行ったり、全て数分で済んだので、楽でした。 チェックアウト後も、荷物を預かってくれて、シャワーやバスタオルを貸してくれて、とても助かりました。

部屋の中に金庫がなかったのが、少し不安になりました。

Friendly check in. Room was spacious and clean and had genuine tatami flooring. Floor bedding was very comfortable. Air-con was great. Location toward the front of the village was excellent. Basic kitchen, ensuite. Washing machines on site. Was able to store luggage after check out, which was useful. Plenty of towels. Completely bug/ insect free.

High speed ferry was cancelled (hint: book the larger, slower one for a reliable crossing): contacted the hotel to let them know and cancel my room for that night but they never replied back. Room had slight musky smell.

Unbeatable Location: Right in the center of Zamami Village, making it incredibly easy to walk to both beaches in under 20 minutes. Authentic Experience: A wonderful, very traditional stay with authentic tatami beds. Great Beach Amenities: Super practical setup for beachgoers, including rental towels, a drying rack, and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. Best Receptionist: Orion, the incredibly cute reception dog, was a delightful bonus to greet us!

Space Constraints: The room is truly ideal for two people; it can accommodate three, but you should be prepared to feel a bit squeezed since there is no space on the floor (after you prepare your sleeping space) and limited wardrobe or shelf space for luggage. Compact Bathroom: The bathroom is on the smaller side, though completely functional

The name Villa is more than exaggerated and the pretentions for higher quality than other accomodations in the village not justified. It is a guesthouse with the prices of a very good buisness hotel. Had I known that, I would have probably chosen a guesthouse with guesthouse prices. The room is really simple, the bathroom is the tiniest I had in Japan and the coffee was the most expensive coffee I had in whole Japan (650 Yen) and was one of the worst. The very enthusiastic reviews of other people were not justified in my opinion.
