It was a beautiful location! I was proud to return and give back to this community.
When we arrived, we really weren’t treated like new guests. We weren’t given a WiFi pw. It wasn’t shared how to access the key. When we couldn’t figure it out, we went to front and was told , it’s not easy to figure out.
The coffee was dead in room which wasn’t cool to go that early in morning without coffee. You can’t really tell if there is a room with a porch and a view when you select your room. Apparently, room 14 was the only one without a view or porch. If she had asked if we’d like to have a view, I would’ve probably said yes for a reasonable amt.
The air unit sounded like it was going to take flight.
It was a special wknd, should’ve taken advantage of it. Have coffee in lobby for guests. Maybe even a cheap snack.. fruit or protein bar before folks leave at 5:30am to go watch sunrise.
We really didn’t get much for $163.0. We traveled nearly 5 hours for this event. Be welcoming. Share where to eat and things to do. There was no place open for breakfast in town, rightly so but again, a few things out in lobby would’ve been nice. The door was locked to lobby. Our dinner was Devine at the riverside restaurant. Totally worth the cost.
