Very comfortable, warm, inviting and pleasant.

Wine bar at night and sitting outside at the fire pits as the sun went down.

Breakfast restaurant was closed for 2 days. Had to eat at the coffees shop across the street. 2 lightbukbs were inoperable in the room, and although we requested replacements, non wet provided.

Location right on the bay but outside the busier Morrow Bay Area. Baywood Park / Los Osos is quiet (quieter than Morrow Bay) if that’s what you are looking for

Enjoyable stay

The staff, location, amenities were terrific. The snacks from Costco and all day coffee were yummy to say the least. The restaurants within a block were outstanding. We ate dinner at the Beerwood 2 out of 3 nights (excellent food and atmosphere). The mexican restaurant next door served a terrific breakfast and having a coffee shop across the street facing the bay was an added bonus. The room was very roomy and spacious and looked out over the bay.

Neither my husband or myself slept well on the king bed. It was too soft for our comfort and the wallpaper was peeling in several locations. It is a bit outdated. I would stay there again in a "heartbeat".

It was fabulous.

The second story room was spacious, beautifully furnished and had a fabulous view of the back bay. The bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet. The full breakfast was delicious.

There is no elevator to the second story, however the staff helped with our bags.

It was a beautiful stay in a beautiful place and I would recommend it to everyone.

The location and the view from our room. The complimentary offerings in the lobby, including the wine tasting hour. The fire feature in the front. The fireplace in our room. The breakfast was good one morning, but wanted more options so we went across the street to the coffee spot for the 2nd morning.

The walls between our bed area and the neighbor allowed the ability to hear their conversations very cleary. Some soundproofing would be good.

Great place to stay, although our room was quiet expensive.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. They had plenty of complimentary snacks, wine and cheese and easy to get access to water, towels etc as needed. Cold evenings they had the fire pits on and it was cozy and nice. Location was right by the water, and we could enjoy the various events or just laze around. The atmosphere was very chill with no one in a hurry. Room was large and expansive with lots of space and a balcony. Lots of parking and street parking also seems plenty. Easy access to the state parks. These parks are great ofr birdwatchers.

The breakfast menu was very limited. The restaurant is mexican with a fixed menu. Only american dish is pancakes and eggs. While this is great once, it can be tiresome every morning for longer stays. We did not even have breakfast the second day. Even a simple bagel/cheese option or toast would be nice. Beverages are also limited to one, e.g. coffee OR juice.

A little far from SLO and we went there everyday...but would be perfect if you instead visit Morro Bay, Cayucos, or Cambria in addition to SLO.

This was my third time staying at the Baywood Inn and I will stay there next time I am in the area.

On this Friday, they had a wine and snack happy hour for guests. The view and the location are first rate. It is a quiet, restful place.

The location is great, with a view of the bay. It is also in a quiet neighborhood. There is a coffee shop and a restaurant within a short walk.

There was a power outage in the early evening that affected the neighborhood, including the Baywood Inn.

The room was very good with a lounge and fireplace that was much appreciated. The bed and bathroom were very good and the staff keen to help

Rooms was large, and we had small kitchenette, so we could cook in room if wanted. Walking distance to at least 4 restaurants. Nice outdoor patio for a 1st floor room - we could see the bay some from our room. Coffee and tea service was great, and really liked the snacks that are available to guests in the main lobby. Also enjoyed breakfast, which was included, at the mexican restaurant next door. Hotel parking was nice.

There was an issue with hot water in our room. We had to call hotel services each day for them to do something with boiler. We had to let the water run long time before it would be hot.

Not nearly worth the cost of $180.00 per night

The facility is clean and the staff helpful. Location is great.

I asked for first floor due to wife's various illnesses. Was placed on second floor. Wife had much difficulty walking up stairs. No information in room to explain how to use television guide. There was very little hot water. Could not heat room sufficiently, heater as cuts off after a certain time. No clock or telephone in room. Breakfast was a $10.00 credit at coffee shop across the street. Staff does not open front desk until 12:00.

The view was excellent. I liked all the perks like the snacks and the evening wine time. Also that the tv had Netflix. Nice staff. Good parking in the back. Locked lobby at night. I felt very safe. Most comfy bed. Awesome breakfast at the Mexican restaurant.

The windows should be mirrored. I love that it is like a fish bowl but everyone can see eachother. And we don't want to put the blinds down because we want to see the bay. In my room the bathroom sink floods and the fan doesn't work. Maybe a fold out bed couch so we could all be comfy and watch Netflix laying down before going to bed.
