Great little hotel providing a good value stay.

An excellent little hotel only a 5 minute stroll from a lovely town centre. Very welcoming staff, and a suitable place to store our bikes overnight. The bedrooms were small but very clean and perfect for our one night stay. A buffet style breakfast was included and was just what we needed before setting off on the next stage of our cycle trip. What our party particularly appreciated was a "self service" bar run on an honesty system.

A great hotel, with a good breakfast and honesty-bar, super place if you are cycling

This place was great value for money. We have cycled from Norway and have stayed in many different hotels. This was the first 2 star property, but the overall experience was much better than some of the 3 star properties we have stayed in. Great place to stay if you are on a cycling trip.

When I asked for recommendations to eat dinner we were given a place 6km away, however the Ouddorp town is fantastic with great places to eat, including the Green a lantern (which was the alternative recommendation given to us after I questioned the distance if the first. Unless there was a person interest in the first recommendation, would it not be better to support the town that your B&B is situated.

The owner is very friendly, as well as the dog :) check in was handled quick and easy and the rooms are very clean. Breakfast has anything you need for a good start: Toast, raisin bread, hagelslag, eggs. Ouddorp is a small village and you can reach everything by bike. Bike rental and supermarkets are within in a 1-5minute walk from the pension. You can reach the beach and dunes by bike within 6-8mins. I would not recommend walking per foot, the streets are often narrow, without sidewalks and the traffic is pretty high and fast there.

Most things are fine. The beds were a way "too cozy", means the mattresses were very soft. The walls and doors are not very soundproof, so you hear anything on the floor, but that was not a bigger problem.

Nice escape to the seaside!

Nice location to enjoy the sea side! The people working in the pension are also super welcoming and provided us with a lot of nice advice.

There is only one shower and wc available per floor and the room was quite hot despite non being a super hot night because of lack of hair circulation. a ventilator is however provided in every room and that helped a lot.

This isn't a hotel you would choose for the beauty of the rooms but as we wanted something clean and comfortable we were happy. The covered bicycle storage was helpful but something to lock the bikes to would have been helpful.
