Character house in the countryside

Well equipped beautiful cottage in the Loire countryside. Very Clean. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and have a vineyard 1/2 an hour away - worth the trip and the tasting. The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break.

We stayed only one night so there was not much time to investigate the area apart from the glorious surrounding countryside, lovely little cottage, a bit rustic surroundings but charming inside and has everything you could need. The wifi could do with a booster as while we were there it dropped out a little occasionally but not important for us. We did think it was not very clear that there were no linens included as they usually are but it seems they are not mentioned in the description of amenities which was a bit disappointing as we could not buy bedding for just one evening, however we were able to rent them for a charge. The host was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

Séjour agréable, propriétaire très très discret, nous avons beaucoup apprécié, jardin clos parfait quand on a des toutous et environnement autour du gite super, très calme, deco très sympa, petit bémol le WiFi ne fonctionne pas et maison un peu poussiéreuse, pas sale mais poussiéreuse.
