The excellent breakfast made up for a lot of other poor things. The staff were polite and helpful.

The hotel we booked on your site was derelict and we were directed to another address about 2 k away. This hotel had our booking. The room was very small and almost completely filled by the bed. It did not help that we had a dog with us, for which we paid, and it was impossible to pass from one side of the room without climbing over the bed. or the dog bed. It was very stuffy and if you opened the window mosquitos came in. The small bathroom smelt of stale urine, although it looked clean. Drain problem, perhaps. I really did not want to use it. Neither of us attempted a shower. The door between the car park and the rooms, which operated on a number code, was extremely difficult to use and it felt like a matter of luck if one got in or out.

Bed was comfortable!

I booked a twin room, photos looked good, reality quite different! Almost no space for the 2 beds, toilet door can not fully open as it hit the bed. When seating in the toilet, the door can not be closed as there is is no room for the legs!

Bad

We were contacted on the morning of the day we were planning to stay to say they could move us to another hotel which had air con as it had been very hot weather. No information was sent about the alternative accommodation. We had to go to this hotel to get instructions for the alternative hotel. Cost of the replacement hotel was €23 cheaper than I had paid. The Fast Hotel we ended up in was very basic but clean. The location was not as good as the one I had planned to be at as there were no grass areas nearby to walk my dog. The hotel I had booked had green spaces by it. The Fast Hotel did let us have breakfast free of charge due to the disruption.

Olivet overnight stay

Convenience for onward travel through France.

The hotel looked and felt tired in both outer and inner areas. Air con needed as in similar priced hotels. For example within previous week we had stayed in Sud Tours Kyriad express hotel and was cheaper with air con.

Poor

I liked that we could spend the night undisturbed in our room and leave safely in the morning.

I booked a room around 6pm, paid it in full. We arrived around 8pm and were asked to pay EUR 60 as a damage deposit, the receptionist explained the sum is fully refundable after 7 days. We asked other guests if they paid that and didn't know anything about it. We were told to go away if we don't like it but it was already late in the evening, we had been driving all day across France, from Spain to Calais - we didn't want to go, we expected a hotel who had charged the whole amount before we even reached there to be a hotel, not to push us away after they had taken a non-refundable payment. We did not use the tv, the shower, the kettle in the room, tried not to touch too many things for fear they will not refund us the money. We were very uncomfortable with the shouts and noise in the car park and were afraid our car could have been damaged during the night. There were many notifications in the room against smoking, including threats of another charge which would go towards cleaning the smoke. Probably that's why the hotel is so scared, their guests may often try burn them down? At checkout we asked a nice cleaning lady if she could check the room to make sure there was no issue in them returning us the 'damage deposit'. She said she didn't know about any deposit. We received the deposit back after one month, not 7 days. The hotel stopped responding to my messages.

what a contradiction in terms called the comfort hotel and was anything but

the hotel was conveniently located, the two staff I spoke were both pleasant and helpful

the communal corridors etc and very stained carpets, someone in the past has been painting parts of the hotel and also managed to get paint everywhere as if a child had carried out the painting

Very disappointing

Location was good, staff very polite, friendly and informative

Could not sit in the toilet properly. The shower was broken which made it difficult to shower. Bed was not comfortable at all. The breakfast was not very appealing, the fruit was all off and had been out the day we arrived. The fruit salad looked as if had been there for days. I had a few slices of cheese and ham. This was not value for money.

Reasonable stopover

The location was convenient for a stopover and the food was surprisingly decent plus reasonably good value. The price of the room was cheap but you get what you pay for.

The bedroom was tiny just enough room to squeeze around the bed and only a pathetic fan for cooling the confined space.
