The perfect spot for a quick visit with a family member who was there for work.

It is a beautiful period house, well decorated, comfortable, quiet, and on a street that gets very little traffic. The main street is about a block away and filled with great restaurants and bars. The property owner is a delight and had great advice on the local restaurants.

Parking. Day 1 we got lucky front door parking day 2 parked down the street. The bathroom was tiny. If you are a person of size or have mobility issues room 5 is not for you.

Glorious

This is a little hidden gem in Coronado. Tiffany greeted me and she was lovely. The inn was quiet, the grounds were fabulous and the room was darling. I even had a tub. The breakfast food is available all day so I had toast at 8pm! Thank you for a wonderful recharge.

Certainly nothing bad, but I did tell Benny that the faucet in the tub didn't work very well - half the water came out the faucet and half the water came out of the shower head.

fantastic lodge - a hidden gem

great lodge with perfect location. street parking was available close. room had everything needed for an overnight stay. available snacks and drinks (coffee, tea, water) at all times. Refrigerator and Keurig in the room also. beautiful gardens out front and chairs and tables on the porch. i have no doubt the gardens are gorgeous in spring and summer. easy walk abouts around the neighborhood.

Love the location - close to everything - from the beach to restaurants - could walk to everything!!

The location was great. We had stayed here several times before because of the location to Lambs Theater and Hotel Del Coronado. Also close to many restaurants that we like. Our room was roomy. The price of the room was one of the cheapest that I found in Coronado.

The bathroom was sort of small, but adequate. The room showed some wear and could be updated.

I would have appreciated knowing about the stairs. We arrived late and had a very difficult time getting our luggage up to the room and the same for getting it back down. Also the sink was very loose from the wall.

Cute and cozy cottage. Perfect for the weekend.

The location is fantastic. The value is great. And the property is quaint. We come here once and year and stay here every year.

Very little to nothing we don’t like. This visit however, the bed had a decent size dip in the middle which made it uncomfortable for my husband and I to sleep on. Luckily our room had two beds so we slept in the other bed which was much more comfortable.

Authentic old Coronado and very well cared for. Great location. Lots of little extras in food, water, refrigerator, ironing board, etc. Staff very nice as well.

Cherokee Lodge feels like a home away from home. It has the charm of a traditional bed and breakfast. The staff were great - delivered my bags to my room. The decor was great. Overall a lovely night's stay.

Everything was great, although I imagine that some people may find the rooms a bit small (I personally didn't).

Better than spending a fortune at del coronado, but steep at over $200 for an ok type stay.

Location and the bed and linens were good.

It was just sort of ‘tired’ in decor and the ac was only so so and their is no person nvolved only an ‘ai concierge’ which wasnt helpful. Also the breakfast was only marginal with prepackaged items of basic costco type quality.

Fantastic homely guesthouse

The welcome was fantastic. The lodge feels like you staying in someone's home. It is in a great location just off Orange Boulevard and a 5 minute walk to Central Beach. Breakfast was provided which you could help yourself to at your convenience.

The room we had was small but very comfortable. A shelf in the bathroom would have helped as storage space was low.

I thought there was lots of history in the building, quiet,nice exterior.

I feel the interior needs an up grade. Very tired. There were stains on sofa in breakfast area and floor. Breakfast could be improved.

Charming, clean and comfortable only a couple of blocks from the main street in town

The location is perfect. It's right off of Orange Ave which has lots of dining options, the beach is a few minutes away. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was varied. They had pastries, boiled eggs, yogurt, cheese and coffee. The TV had streaming apps loaded so you could logon to your streaming services if you didn't like what was on the TV. There are rocking chairs in the front, an outside eating area in the back and lawn games as well. It's a true B&B that feels like a home away from home.

They don't have on-site parking, but there is street parking which is free. You just have to hope that you get a spot nearby. Some people may find that a front desk is necessary, but the staff provides information on what to do when they are gone if you need help and there are signs as well. I think that all rooms are on the second floor, which may be problematic if you cannot climb stairs. The rooms are smaller than one might expect, which may be troublesome if you have big bags.

LOCATION ,WE STAY AT ROOM 4 FOR 5 NIGHTS AND THEN WE STAY AN EXTRA NIGHT AT ROOM 3. BOTH ROOMS WERE CLEAN , BATHROOMS WERE EXPETIONALY CLEAN !. THE LODGE WERE WALKING DISTANCE TO THE BEACH . THIS PLACE IS LOCATED ON A VERY QUITE STREET . WALKING DISTANCE TO A LOT OF RESTURENT .

Clean, quiet and beautiful!! The front yard with beautiful flowers, was inviting to people and lots of Monarch butterflies. Location was easily within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants!!

We truly enjoyed the Lodge, great history, great accommodations incl. 5 other family.

Loved the outside grounds, the quietness of being in the neighborhood and loved the closeness, the easiness to walk to shopping, restaurants. Loved the butterflies flying all around the front yard. Liked the breakfast available and the dining room to be able to visit with family and other guests.

I would prefer a room that included the bathroom. It was a great bathroom, just did not like having to leave room and be in hallway to go use it, mostly in evening. Room 12.

Hated the bathroom in the hallway for both rooms , was v ery inconvenient for both rooms. Felt over priced for the inconvenience. Poor choices daily for a so-called free breakfast. Would not stay again. Light coming in windows all night. And bright hallways. Just a difficult setup .

It's a perfect place for a brief stay. Staff is super nice, simple and nutritious breakfast is available, it's quiet and clean. The room is small but rather cozy. We're not big fans of noisy air conditioners but the possibility to open the windows and get the fresh evening air was nice.

The bathroom situation was not acceptable.

The location is good. The property was clean.

We booked a room with 2 beds but there was no bathroom in the room. The tiny bathroom was outside the room on the hallway. Each time we go to the bathroom, we have to bring our key to unlock and lock the door for both our bedroom and bathroom. It was very bad special at the nighttime when we needed to use the bathroom. After coming out the shower, we met the other guests on the hallway. It was just so inconvenient and uncomfortable. We paid over $230/night. We deserved a bathroom in the room not outside. Moreover, there is no parking.

Needs refurbishment, all areas look tired. Shower difficult to get to right temp. No breakfast as such, just muffins, cakes etc wrapped in plastic left from night before. Didn’t really see or engage with any staff.
