After staying in few more places in Volcano I can truly write that this place is a gem. Worth every $. Lodging option near Volcano National Park are bad. Really bad. Moisture and old. This place is fresh, cozy and with really nice interior. I have read other opinions about a noise - yes, I have heard other guests but it is so normal for hotel rooms almost everywhere. I am a very light sleeper and the rain is not a problem. I have few days with non stop rain. Dave is cleaning and preparing two rooms by himself. You will get complimentary snacks, water and laundry!

He added touches were above & beyond & very much appreciated, including heated mattress pad, homemade fresh banana bread upon arrival, variety of snacks, and drinks included in our stay, the bidet toilet, & heated bath rooms on floors to name a few! And our room in Jacuzzi in the middle of a rainforest environment was exceptional!!
