The hosts were fantastic - very welcoming and great recommendations for cafes and food. The location is perfect - good restaurants down the road, great coffee/breakfast place not far, close to beach, and the Buddha, temples and start of trail to Kita-Kamakura.
The front room on the street can be a bit noisy from traffic. Wear earplugs and it’s OK.

We had the service drink at the hotel, and it was great! The proprietors were nice, explained everything well, and were easy to talk to. The decor they had on display was also interesting.
Honestly, I can't really think of a flaw myself. The room was a good enough size, and we didn't mind the bunk format of the beds.
