Marechiaro House

The location—practically on the beach and in the Old Town—was perfect. The balcony offered wonderful sunset views in the evening. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It was possible to make the bedroom completely dark, ensuring a good night's sleep. The apartment was quiet, and street noise could not be heard. It was stylishly decorated and clean.

When it rained at night, water pooled on the balcony because the drain was poor or clogged. The apartment was much smaller than it appeared in the photos, though it was a comfortable size for the two of us. The stairs leading to the apartment are very steep and narrow; this place is not suitable for the elderly or those with limited mobility. There wasn't much storage space, so there really should have been more hangers. The shower needs maintenance—at the very least, a new showerhead to ensure an even flow of water.

Best place to stay especially for solo traveller

In the middle off the city and 1 min walk to sea restaurants

The localization is perfect - you can literally hear the sea from the bedroom. The roof space and the view from there is a huge perk.

Location was excellent, in the old centre with a five minute walk to the main beach. Good value and clean

The water from the shower jumped from super cold and super hot and had to wait several minutes for it to change back to warm. There was construction inside the building below which was disruptive to sleep.
