Canterbury Kings Beach Treehouse

The entry instructions were very clear and it was easy to enter the property. The kitchen was stocked with spices, coffee, coffee filters, maple syrup, and other dry ingredients. It also had complimentary dishwashing pods and laundry pods(even though we got a message saying there won't be any). There were plenty of silverware and dishes to use. Lots of books to read too. Proximity to King's Beach is a plus point.

Firstly, the AC in the property didn't seem to work, despite there being a thermostat. The indoor temperature remained fixed at 76 degF and it got really hot at night. Only in the wee hours of the morning did the temperature dip to 69 deg. We made 2 calls to the management company who said they would send someone across, but no one came during the 2 days we stayed there. We were told later that we could have left the windows open, which didnt occur to us, since we were told bears sometimes raid homes !!! They also said we could have used the fans, but we saw only one fan for the 4 bedrooms. Secondly, the 2 bathrooms had enough bath towels, but no hand and face towels and no bath mats for the floor. The kitchen should have had a floor rag/mop to mop up spills. Thirdly, there were linens left over in the dryer.

I liked the seclusion, the space, fully equipped house (kitchen tools, towels blankets, fans, and heater)

no tv service in less you have your own Netflix, hula accounts, and One tv for five people is a not good
