Great location, loved diamond resort.
Unfortunately the unit still has issues with the air conditioner drain off. I had read previous reviews and hoped the issue would have been fixed for us. We understand Galveston is a humid place and the unit could easily have a week where the air can keep up and have no issues. Whatever the drainage situation is in the ceiling unit is not sufficient during storms and super humid days (which is a lot). We contacted both diamond and vacasa about the issue. Hopefully the owners can come stay at the unit sometime and fully understand the issue to better take care of their investment, because it's literally just getting painted over, but not fixed at the root issue.

Super clean room
Beach access was okay, it’s off to the side which was not what we were anticipating. It’s not bad, just not how we interpreted what was advertised.
