Updates, cleaning & maintenance needed

Great view and great restaurants nearby. Comfy blue couches in the living room

Expected to be wowed by the ocean view but the windows were dirty. (we cleaned them) Overall housekeeping wasn't great, including grit in the king bed. Flimsy soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers let out one tiny drop per pump and should definitely be replaced. Couldn't use the garage due to old couches taking up each space. House has a lot of deferred maintenance - rust, peeling wallpaper, unfinished drywall patches, paint. Dated decor, awkward picture hanging and a lot of clutter due to tchotchkes. Price was high for a somewhat shabby home.

We had a lot of fun.

The view was incredible, we loved how the beds in the rooms felt. Also enjoyed easy access to the beach.

No ventilation in living room. Needs paint and door handles. Time to redo.

Pleasant

The view was beautiful, although we couldn't open any windows. The deck was great except there was no covering so when it rained we couldn't sit outside. It was clean, although very old. The bed configuration wasn't what it said online, there was supposed to be another bed in the king room. But there was everything you would need to stay there. Towels we're nice and there were lots of extra blankets. Living room was comfortable and everything worked.

There was one less bed than stated online and there wasn't private bathrooms, only sinks in the rooms, which was helpful. Everything was very old and the king bed and pullout bed we're very uncomfortable. Getting to the beach was doable but not super convenient. This is not the best beach for kids, go to Newport for soft sand with smaller waves. This ocean was gorgeous and this would be a good place for adults or older kids. They have a great photographer, the main room is the nicest.
