Rocky Mountain Lookout

The location and views were fantastic! Bathroom good, kitchen well equipped..

Bed was too small and soft, no bedside tables. Also the blinds were totally insufficient..letting all light from the outside in, Bannon the middle of the night from the slope groomers working.

Laundry room was a plus. It was quiet, comfortable, and easy to get to.

No dresser to place your belongings in. No night stand for phone to rest on and charge or rest a book on. Closet space was non existent as well. The carpet had foot prints on it as if it was not vacuumed.

great location central to Mt Village. good facilities (made simple breakfasts every day). checkin/out information came as advertised (24 hours ahead) and all was clear.

it gets stuffy when hot outside and it was tricky cooling it off at night; a fan would be useful.

The location is great, and it was extremely clean (except the full trash can of someone else’s trash, which was kind of gross), and it was stoked with enough utensils to cook in comfortably.

The blinds to the patio were super janky and the middle one didn’t close all the way, the closet had zero hangers and was full of a bunch of cleaning supplies that were just thrown in there so there was nowhere to hang or place any of my own clothing since there was also no dresser, the pots and pans all had Teflon peeling from the bottom so I did not use those, there is nowhere to park anywhere near the hotel, and there is also no area or luggage cart to even unload your luggage. There’s also no valet, no front desk, or no one to reach in case of emergency, like when the kitchen sink started spilling water from the pipes below, and I could not contact anyone for maintenance help and had to try to clean it up myself. I read about the Janky blinds and someone else else’s review from over a year ago so I was a little startled that that situation had not been remedied since it seems like such a simple fix.
